Chaos Code: Sign of Catastrophe (2011)
I would recommend you get this.
After seeing this game and playing it for the first time, I would recommend it. A underrated fighting game from FK Digital and Arc System Works of Guilty Gear and Dragon Ball Fighterz fame. Goes for cheap on Steam and on Switch and probably other consoles too. Animations are crisp and voice acting is good, the controls were also responsive for me, but the only negative I have is that the online netcode is not that great as it is delay based. So, if you want a connection that is good or manageable, play wired or play offline instead. It is worth it if you want a quick and fun fighting game and gem to add to your collection and I would suggest that anyone who is a fighting game fan grab it for cheap while it is available.
The Northman (2022)
I didn't like it.
If this was aiming to be an epic, than this was an epic fail, everything, down to the costumes and culture depicted in the film, do not accurately represent 10th century Iceland. I also found the film to be overacted and the characters needed more development. To me, this felt like another "heroes journey" generic film with the same formula: Start youthful and amaturesh, face a dreadful event, be motivated to take revenge, do it. The trailer gave the whole film away, and after seeing it I feel like I wasted my time. Unoriginal and predicable. Not worth your ticket.
Morbius (2022)
No... Just no!
Plot was nonsensical and writing felt rushed. The whole vampire powers scenario can be seen in Dracula. Had more enjoyment watching Birdemic. Jared Leto needs more practice in his acting, from his roles as Joker to Morpheus he fell flat. At least the soundtrack was okay, but other than that don't watch this. Eternals was better.
The Rescue (2021)
Beautiful and Intense
This documentary left me on the edge of my seat when I watched it. Seeing the rescuers of the children and the real footage of the rescue as it occurred added to the urgency and the intensity of the film. At times I wondered if they were going to die or not during the rescue as there were so many risks involved. No documentary that I have seen has been this intense, heroic and raw, and I highly recommend that you see it. 10/10.
Tatsunoko vs. Capcom: Cross Generation of Heroes (2008)
A stunning and underrated fighter for the Nintendo Wii.
I still play this game even in 2021. Everything from the graphics to the mechanics and combat styles for each character are super addicting. The only cons I have is that this game didn't have an English dub, also the story could've been a little bit better. Other than that it's a flawless game that I'd highly recommend for marvel vs capcom fans and fighting game fans alike.
