Saw this at a sneak preview when it first came out in 1984. It is still a great watch today in 2024. Proud of all the performers in this. Was the first flick for Corey Haim, RIP. Was expecting Collet to have a big career after this. I'm just glad that he still performs and seems to be doing okay. This was the first time I saw Robert Downey Jr. On screen. Boy did he go through a lot after this and throughout the 80's, so great he overcame that and has his awesome career today. I'm sorry that I'm blathering because they require a whole lot of characters to leave a review. Hopefully Teri Garr is being taken care of.
So if you're in the mood for an airplane disaster flick or a shark catastrophe flick, this one will satisfy all that but it is at least a cut above what you're expecting. There's some character development, and they're put through lots of tension, and the ones left in the end, had to have balls of steel to do what they had to do to survive. I'm not saying it's genius, but if you like this genre, its better than you're expecting. No big stars, but you've got Colm Meany, and an Attenborough descendant.
There, almost got 600 characters but not quite so I have to keep writing. So, how was your day today?

They had sizzling' chemistry. It was well cast, and the romance was written better than your typical rom-com. So I recommend watching. I need to add more words here or it won't let me submit, watch this film for easy enjoyment. Their temptation for each other was sizzling' hot.
