I'm a fan of Rom Coms but this did not deliver. Sam Heughan is adorable but has no chemistry with Pryanka Chopra. He had better chemistry with Celine Dion. Celine is the highlight of the movie with her acting and music! The premise of the movie is forced and some of the situations make no sense. It was easy to predict how all this would unfold and I begrudgingly watched it until the end. I'm afraid that the casting was all wrong. No disrespect to Pryanka, but I enjoyed her scenes with Joe Jonas more than the storyline with Sam. It's as if neither Sam nor Pryanka had their heart in this project.
Such a beautiful and emotional love story. We get a glimpse of the back stories of Queen Charlotte, Lady Danbury and Lady Violet. I didn't want it to end and when it did, I was in tears. I love the representation of all the female lead actresses. Such a display of strength, determination, and self-worth. If you're a hopeless, romantic, and Bridgerton fan, then this series is definitely for you. You will be enchanted by the wigs, costumes, palace, and fabulous galas. The acting is spot on, and we are convinced about all the characters' motivation to succeed in this society. Of course, there is another wonderful soundtrack to accompany the series.
Trudging along with this series and hoping for something that keeps me interested. This is certainly not as good as The Walking Dead which has an array of great characters, acting and special effects. There are landscapes and plots in this show that are straight out of the Walking Dead.
I'm four episodes in and losing interest quickly. I really like Pedro Pascal and we can see him building a relationship with his travel partner, but it's moving too slow without many answers. The episodes are disjointed and go back and forth between periods of time. It's hard to follow or care how some of these characters are connected.
