Robbie Williams has always been an oddity when it comes to music I listen to, he isn't my usual fare, but his first 5-6 albums were excellent and so is this biopic. I had read and listened to some not brilliant reviews but I disagree with all of those, this is brilliantly done.

I pretty much forgot his character was a monkey after a while, because to be fair that is how he always comes across in real life, a cheeky monkey.

Casting was excellent, dance sequences and performance sections were superb, cinematography was brilliant and there were some excellent performances by the cast.

It made me laugh, it made me cry and it was very sad in places, but that's what depression can do to you.

Well worth watching.

I have had to give Conclave a 7 as the first 1 hour 40 minutes is brilliant. Okay, people that don't like a slow film probably won't like it, however, I have no problem with that. It is well directed, cinematography is good, the costumes and setting are superb, Ralph Fiennes is magnificent and it feels like this really gives you an in-depth insight into what happens when a new Pope is selected BUT, and it's a big BUT, the ending really does let it down. I desperately want Hollywood to stop pushing an agenda with everything they release. It really feels shoehorned in for no reason and has no place in here.

Other than that this is a wonderful film.
