I don't recommend this show at all. It's very boring, the characters are awful, nothing happens, none of the jokes land, there's no drama or conflict, and the dialogue can be seriously cringe. None of the magic from Peter Jackson's original trilogy is present, nor even the Hobbit trilogy. What baffles me is how this is supposed to be the most expensive TV series ever made. Where is the budget going to? Majority of the scenes are just people talking about completely irrelevant topics. There were several scenes where you think something is about to happen and then it immediately cuts back to something pointless and unnecessary. Shame on you Amazon for insulting Tolkien's work.

I liked the concept, what is the future going to be like when we have technology to satisfy our sexual needs. However, the acting is atrocious, the editing is confusing as scenes don't blend together at all, and the character arcs make absolutely zero sense. Just watch black mirror instead of this.
