The thing is it started of ok but quickly went rapidly downhill. Its a slasher movie with a twist in 2024 so what could go wrong. Considering it's tiny cast it was all down to 2 main characters and they acted well. The problem is this plot was blown wide open by 2 movie destroying acts of stupidity that the film can't recover from. By the end it's become a b movie about a woman who thinks she's invincible and keeps getting lucky. Given the strong start the end is terrible and whoever directed this should have a long enforced break. Boy meets girl and 1 is a serial killer but then so many unbelievable scenes are put together that are too improbable to watch so the interest drops..how many friends and family reviewed this i wonder..

It started well, episode 1 was ok...then it went downhill really quick. They seem to have tried for comedy and instead they ended up making a juvenile kids story. Weirdly it has amazing effects and gore, but the script amd plot are diabolical and so increasingly infantile with the 1 liners all the time. Its painfull to watch, i made it to ep6 but my partner said shed leave me if we watched any more...they had a budget here and truly screwed up.

I could have gone further were it not for the awful attempts at comedy the poor actors were instructed to make. The gore and story dont match at all and sometimes its just awkward.

There there are the traditional poor choices the characters make every episode which gets tiring and predicable. Z nation is leagues above this.

If even resident evil can go pollical and become activist then we are nearing the end times and rapture. The main characters are vegan and wanna save rabbits from umbrella testing!?. They cheaped out on the make up and cgi effects too. Yeah, you have been warned this is not resident evil, its Hollywood 2022 and we know what that means..

gets 3 stars cos Lance is always great in everything, im gutted this series went the direction it did as it could have been a winner with better writers on the case.

There are lots of modern clichés and tropes as well but ultimately its a right on family drama in a dystopian future, with very few zombies here and there...

so now i need to prepare for final Armageddon and build a bunker.
