It's not a cinematic masterpiece, but thats not the point of the film anyway. It's a refreshing, be it final, view of Michael as an artist, performer and human being. He looked like he was pouring all of his creative energy into the stage show, and if it had gone as planned, it probably would've been one of the most spectacular of all time.
No matter how many "4 year old wiener" jokes you make, you can't deny MJ's astounding vocal abilities (its to bad we didn't get to see more of his full potential in This Is It), his natural stage presence, and the fact that he's the Picasso of dance. There would be no modern dance as we know it without him. He was an overall amazing performer and artist on every level and I hope that people remember him as he is in this film, rather than all that other stuff, because it's his art thats left a huge impression on the world, not his media scandals.
Overall, very interesting watch, a little funny, a little sad, but nice to see the King of Pop as himself, the King of Pop.
