Hidden Strike (2023)
Could have been a great movie.
I think it could have been really good, it seems there are loads of good action scenes in it, but having to watch movies with subtitles just isn't for me. I like to watch the movie, not read what's being said. Half of its English, the other half is Chinese, so really you only get to enjoy half the movie... I understand the Chinese want to speak Chinese, but that's no good for English speaking countries... Even if it was dubbed over in English, that would have been better than having to have subtitles on... If I want to read something I grab a book, not watch a movie lol... So, unfortunately only 2/10 for me.
The Weapon (2023)
Anyone know who to contact for a refund on the 2 hours wasted on this movie??
Absolutely terrible movie. The people in it cannot be called "actors", I refuse to believe they were actually paid for the job. Just don't bother, it's not one of those "so bad that it's good" movies, it's just simply bad, really bad. The CGI is almost as bad as the acting, the fire in one scene looks like it was drawn by a 4 year old in crayon. As for the fighting, well, if there was a choreographer on set, they really need to be looking at taking their career in a completely different direction. I've seen better fights from drunk people in Wetherspoons. My guess is there wasn't even a script for the movie. Someone just briefly explained the storyline and said, "Let's go, just do whatever you want to". This movie is definitely a 0/10, unfortunately that wasn't an option, so I had to give it 1 star, but please be assured, it is nowhere near worthy of that 1 star.
Willy's Wonderland (2021)
Oh dear Nicolas.
What has become of you Nicolas?? You used to be in such awesome movies, but now you're fighting animatronic monkeys with a toilet plunger and slapping animatronic alligators... Such a waste of talent... This movie is truely awful.
News of the World (2020)
A very heartwarming story.
I really enjoyed News Of The World. It has a great story with just the right amounts of action and drama. You can feel the love that Tom Hanks' character has for Helena Zengel's character when nobody else will show her any. Very heartwarming.
The 2nd (2020)
Poor, but watchable if you're really bored.
The acting is not great, the effects are not great either. Some bullets are instant hits as should be, but some take a second or two to hit, as if they're lazy bullets. Fight scenes are not at all natural... I stopped properly watching very soon into it, but kept it on in the background as I did some cleaning lol.

Laughably terrible!!
Terrible story, terrible animation, generally terrible... I've seen better animation on nursery rhyme YouTube videos.
Bad Boys for Life (2020)
Wow!!
Absolutely fantastic. Hilarious and nail bitingly action packed. Beyond brilliant performances from Will Smith, Martin Lawrence and of course Joe Pantoliano as angry Captain Howard... I've been waiting so long for this movie and it was certainly worth the wait. 8/10
Pirates of the Caribbean: Dead Men Tell No Tales (2017)
Disappointing.
After watching through all of the POTC movies, one can see there's a very obvious drop in quality to this movie compared to those before it. Cheap acting, a cheap script, no Disney magic at all. Quite sad tbh. 3/10
