Not sure why this movie got such low viewer ratings. It's a TV movie, rated TV-14, so we knew not to expect typical horror movie gore/sex, etc. Jump scares and some blood, but no sex, not much profanity. It was a great movie to watch with my girls (10 and 14) and their friends. I like the twists it took. We have already watched it twice in two weeks, and have noticed some of the more subtle things the second time around. I liked the character interaction also. I thought the actors were pretty down-to-earth and believable. Teen daughter is moody and on her phone at the beginning. Dad is trying to connect with her bc he only gets her one weekend a month. Overall, I really liked it. Just don't go into it expecting Stephen King-type of a movie.

Not sure why this movie got so many bad reviews. It's a cute kids' movie, nothing more. My kids (10 & 14 years old) liked it, as did I. I do agree with other reviewers that it had a "Home Alone" ripoff feel to it, but I still thought it was cute. It is always nice to have a movie without any questionable content, so my kids can watch!

Binge-watched this the first weekend it was released. Comedy, romance, intrigue. Love the characters and scenery. Actors are amazing! Bring on Season 2!!!
