Nothing new, nothing extraordinary, nothing out of world, yet the movie works, thanks to the relatable content and presentation.
Pradeep Ranganathan fits the bill perfectly, it's a tailor made role for him and breezes through the proceedings with ease, with the emotional scenes being the standouts. Anupama and Kadayu get small roles, but effective, so are others, George and Mysskin score well among all.
Technically, songs aren't as effective from Leon James, definitely needed a chartbuster album, so is the BGM, camera work is fine, but movie needs editing of at least 15 minutes, feels lengthy in the 2nd half. Production values fine by AGS, dubbing is adequate.
Coming to Ashwin Marimuthu, his second movie is similar to his first, Oh My Kadavule, it's all about second chance in life, albeit in a different setup and he makes sure that the predictability is covered by his direction.
BOTTOMLINE : Go for it in a Full packed or at least in a theatre with decent crowd.

Went with flat expectations and was pleasantly surprised, although not completely satisfied.
Naga Chaitanya and Sai Pallavi's chemistry is the major asset of the film, it's what keeps you engaged despite the routine stuff on offer. But introducing the patriotism angle in the 2nd half is a major letdown, neither it's fresh nor it engages, climax wrapped up conveniently.
Naga Chaitanya has shown good improvement in terms of acting and screen presence, Sai Pallavi continues where she left from Amaran, but it feels repetitive. Others have got nothing.
Technically, DSP's work deserves huge applause, shows he's still the best in the business, Shamdat's camera work is superb, editing by Navin Nooli could have been better, 2nd half feels so long and dragged, production values by Geetha Arts are fine.
Coming to Director Chandoo Mondeti, has done a good job when it comes to love story, but the patriotism parts felt unnecessary and forced.
BOTTOMLINE: Not a long lasting, but fairly enjoyable love story.

Looks like I have been deceived after a positive looking trailer again. It's neither good nor bad, it's just BORING
Right from the word go, proceedings feel so uninteresting and detached, until the crime scene happens. After that, upto interval, suspense is maintained.
But 2nd half literally bores you, not a single thrill or action, it's that boring.
Ajith looks so ordinary and casual, no standout moments, in terms of acting or action. Nothing to talk about others.
Technically movie looks nice, good cinematography by Om Prakash and editing by NB Srikanth, subpar action choreography and below par work by Anirudh
Coming to Director Magizh Thirumeni, his writing lacks any thrills and novelty, direction too is flat
