The Curse: Land of Enchantment (2023)
Incredible
What a strong pilot, this show is already so insane and it just started, I can't wait for more. So fresh, unique, and creative I love it.
I knew that the show would be strong due to Safdie and Fielder co-creating it together and they delivered everything I could've wanted and more, they completely compliment each other styles in a way that blends so amazingly and makes for such entertaining, nerve-racking, hilarious, interesting story telling and I'm already in love.
I can't wait to see more of this show as they expand upon this story and its characters, I know it's in good hands and I think it'll continue to rise in consistently incredible quality.
Black Swan (2010)
Oh my god.
This movie is a beautifully crafted story of losing your sanity and fulfilling your true potential at the same time. The dancing is amazing, the score was really good, the acting was PHENOMENAL (I'm not surprised Natalie Portman won an Oscar for this movie) and the ending left me with chills. FANTASTIC movie
The Machinist (2004)
Had potential to be a lot better
This movie has a very interesting premise but it fails to succeed in being as captivating as it could've and should've been. The score is very repetitive and generic, the acting is not too great besides Christian Bale, and the twists are pretty predictable. I think that with a better score, more stylistic cinematography, and a little more tightened story, this could've been a great movie. Unfortunately, it was just meh.
Succession: Nobody Is Ever Missing (2018)
Breathtakingly Intense Finale
A magnificent finale to an incredible season of a brilliant show. That last scene with Logan and Kendall was tremendous. I forgot to breathe I was so focused and wrapped up in what was happening. I give my most sincere compliments to the actors (especially Kendall) for that scene, it was remarkable.
If Anything Happens I Love You (2020)
Brilliant
This short film gave me chills several times in the brief span of 12 minutes. The art style, score, and visuals are all so masterfully tied together to make a heavy, emotional, beautiful short film that made me shiver and brought tears to my eyes. Absolutely breathtaking and also extremely devastating. I recommend everyone to watch it
Halt and Catch Fire: NIM (2016)
WOW!
This was FANTASTIC. To see Joe and Cam
Back together again was amazing and that scene where they are talking and it's cutting in and out of them about to hook up was one of the most satisfying and dramatic scenes I've ever seen in my life. OUTSTANDING episode! Loved it loved it loved it
The Broken Hearts Gallery (2020)
Horrible
This has gotta be one of the worst movies I've ever seen in my life, the acting was unbearable and the story was so uninteresting. My friend fell asleep in the theater (which he's never done at any other movie). It was absolutely atrocious and I don't know how it got through all the processes of writing, directing, editing, etc. without someone pumping the brakes on this disaster.
Joshy (2016)
I loved it so much
I absolutely loved this movie. I had seen a bunch of mixed reviews but took a chance anyways because I love Thomas Middleditch and the trailer was really intriguing. After watching, I am absolutely shocked this is only rated at a 5.6 stars. I loved this movie so much. I laughed and I cried, masterfully done! I highly recommend this movie.
Barry: The Show Must Go On, Probably? (2019)
Hilarious
This is 100% one of
My favorite shows and this episode is absolutely hilarious. This is one of the best episodes of any television comedy ever, I died laughing
Punk'd: Bat Mitzvah'd With Liza Koshy (2020)
Very funny
This one was really good. Liza was freaking out. They did a good job
Punk'd: Wrecking Ball With Adam Devine (2020)
Pretty good I guess
The only reason I liked this was because I love Adam DeVine, but it's not that exciting
Punk'd: New Town Road With Lil Nas X (2020)
Boring
There's nothing exciting happening here. Terrible prank
Devs: Episode #1.6 (2020)
Really good
I really enjoyed this episode. It shows more of a human side to some of the characters instead of a corporation side
Mom and Dad (2017)
I'd watch it again
A pretty solid Nic Cage film about a thing that makes parents go crazy and try to kill their children. It was an interesting premise and another mindless movie I figured I'd watch after work. The story was pretty interesting but it was just another fun and mindless killing movie that made me laugh a few times because of how crazy the end is. Although the end is also a little disappointing. Also the music they use, it's like this dubstep thing and it's pretty sick.
Rocketman (2019)
Must watch. Better than Bohemian Rhapsody
Freaking amazing movie with great cast. I felt like Taron Edgerton really was Elton John the whole time I was watching the movie. All of Elton John's story was super interesting and the music scenes were outstanding. I was entertained the whole time. Definitely recommend, better than bohemian Rhapsody
Red Dead Redemption II (2018)
Absolutely incredible
This is one of my favorite games of the year and maybe even my whole life. It wins on both quality and quantity. No matter where you are there is something to do, yet it actually has purpose, it's not just time wasting bull crap. Even on little things like going hunting with someone can turn into some crazy adventure.
The game is a masterpiece with a beautiful story and soundtrack combining to make for an amazing time. The voice acting is never awkward or takes your attention away from the game, everyone does a fantastic job.
Be sure to buy this game as soon as you can. I bought Fallout 76 and then got this for Christmas. I stopped playing Fallout 76 about 2 weeks after the full release, it was terrible. Then I played Red Dead and the fact that someone released Fallout 76 very close to this one was a bad idea because this game beats it, and many other terrible games that have come out recently in so many ways.
Once you are done or even just in the middle of the story, Red Dead Redemption 2 also offers an online mode that contains several game modes and a free roam. I have personally not played them yet so I can't give my opinion but I've heard pretty good things about it
Anyway, just make sure to get this game ASAP
Cars 3 (2017)
Good, until the end
I really liked this movie for the whole 1 hour 20 minutes before the end, it was really good and I liked it was a way bigger step up from Cars 2.....but the ending did NOT pay off. That's why I only gave it 7 stars instead of like 8-9
Night School (2018)
A perfect comedy
Go see this movie as soon as you can! There's laughs all around and it never stops entertaining!
Alpha (2018)
People are being WAY too nice.
People are giving great reviews to a bad movie. It may be one of the slowest movies I've ever seen. For example, if you've seen the trailer, then you know the first HOUR of the movie. It takes 60 minutes to get past the point that the trailer sets up. If they just showed the trailer then cut out that hour, then there wouldn't be any confusion. It's just DRAGGED ON for so long and it's not even realistic at ALL. This is the first movie of my life that I've considered leaving the theatre while watching.
The Bucket List (2007)
Outstanding movie
This is one of the best movies I've ever seen in my life. Such a good movie about caring and friendship. And even about overcoming your problems. It is so good, a funny, dramatic, tear jerker. I HIGHLY RECCOMMEND
Uncle Drew (2018)
Not the worst movie ever
When I saw the trailer for this movie, I had no intentions of seeing it whatsoever. But my family went, so I went with them, because hey, who doesn't like seeing a movie? So I went, and it wasn't all bad, I had a few chuckles and the whole thing was about teamwork and working hard. It was a pretty good movie, but I wouldn't see it again
