The Starry Love was a lovely series from the beginning to the end. The graphics were phenominal and both the main story line and the side stories were great. I tend to skip side story lines but even the side stories had me hooked. This show was engaging throughout. The cast was amazing too! I would definitely recommend this to people who like this genre of C-Drama!
I did not give it higher solely because I felt there was something missing in the drama. The romance was good, but personally I did not feel proper romantic chemistry. This may not be the same for everyone though! I personally think that if it had more episodes with a longer story line, the chemistry may have been stronger for both couples, as well as the side couples.
Overall, I would definitely recommend you give it a watch!!

This was a beautifully-written series which is a must watch if you like Xianxia series.
You can see amazing character developments throughout this series and the series hooks you from episode 1. What makes it stand out from other Xianxia is that there is no jealous love triangle or mother-in-law from hell type plots which is really refreshing to see, as it focuses more on the relationships of the characters. The graphics were gorgeous throughout and I personally think it is in the same league as series including Ashes of Love in regards to the relationship plot of the ML and FL.
If I am looking at any negatives I would say that the ending felt a bit too rushed and I think the series was a bit too short where they could have looked at other characters' story plots more as I feel some plots were cut too short. However, I guess we just have to hope for a season two as I would love to watch more of the series!!

I get why some people may not enjoy it as it does take a couple of episodes to get into, however overall it was a lovely series which I ended up binge-watching by episode 4. I love the individual stories behind each character and how the series looks at each one of their stories, rather than being based solely on one character. I can't give it an 8 or more as I was hoping for more character development and I think 8 episodes was not enough to go over the background of the story, however the cinematography was amazing and the plot was really great. I would just say give it a chance and be patient as it is worth it. I am looking forward to season 2.
