I wanted to love this series but literally nothing happens. I love Yvonne S as an actress and she's so amazing in here as well. But there isn't much for anyone to work with in this script, plot or storyline. This series could have been so good or gripping/entertaining at least but it falls so flat. Way too slow and I didn't even care what the ending was anymore. Please save your time and watch something else!! I wish they would give more storylines to these types of series. Literally did not go anywhere. Now I'm just writing to fill the word requirement but I still feel strongly about what I said lol.

I really wanted to like this film, I love Laura Dern and usually always like Rom Coms. I found this to be so slow, boring and flat. Also I didn't personally believe the chemistry between the characters and didn't connect with Laura Derns. I think the biggest issue I had with this film is Liam Hemsworths odd accent... I know he's Australian but maybe they should have let him keep his accent. Because this odd "American" accent isn't working for me, it's distracting and doesn't work. It took way too long for these two to get together and I didn't even care much when they did. Supporting characters are also boring.

This is the rom com I've been waiting for. The chemistry between Kristen Bell and Adam Brody is absolutely electric. Everything we've been missing is in this series and I couldn't love it any more. Both characters are written so well with depth, nuances, flaws and strengths. We need more series/movies like this in the rom com world and I pray this gets a season two. Maybe this is geared towards my millennial nostalgia with both of these actors but I am absolutely here for it. If you're a fan of rom coms from 90s/00s you will love this! Give it a watch, I am already wanting more from these characters. Supporting cast is also hilarious and sharp.
