What could have been!! A great chance to make a high quality movie based on facts - A tragedy that shook the nation, instead it has so many loopholes, stoked acting and weak dialogues, despite having some top notch actors.
Most of the time you feel the characters have just memorised their lines. The worst are the hijackers!!
However, what it does show (maybe inadvertently) is the total lack of a proper crisis management policy, which I'm hoping is not the case any more.
It was nice to see Dia, Nasseruddin, Pankaj, and a few others but sadly their roles were not not well etched. Vikram was acceptable.
It was funny to see passengers faces during the hijack, to be seen simply sitting expressionless as if watching a movie of their TV screens.
A quickly forgotten mess.

Violence only begets violence.
The idea is excellent and the execution is also very good - but is this some kind of solution? I wouldn't be surprised if many of the Men watching just brushes the movie off as a wild fantasy.
To be treated equally needs a much more deeper look at the issue and a solid change in men's and society's mindset.
The actress in this movie is shown as weak and humble in the beginning and then suddenly she gets the courage to do what she does... But the extent of it is ridiculous?
Anyway, the acting is good, dialogues are good and screenplay is top notch. I just really wish that a more intelligent and impactful script was made to drive the idea home.
Women empowerment in India needs a lot more serious approach.

An entertainer and therefore a 'leave your brains at home' type of movie - but refreshing because you don't see over the hill male superstars trying to retain their youth and receding airlines. This is with women and three lovely women, all wonderfully talented in their own special way.
Negatives: Weak storyline Terrible editing Lots of loose ends Implausible situations Terrible CGI effects Sad to see Kulbushan Kharbanda reduced to a miniscule character role.
Positives: Lead actresses perform well - not path breaking but they are all having a good time and the fun is infectious.
Diljit (wish he was more on screen) Above average locations Some good tongue in cheek one liners - elicit some good chuckles
Not a classic, but definitely a fun watch.
