Wow, in the end this closes as a really powerful story. However the journey we are brought along to get there feels quite unsatisfying and underdeveloped. There is too much focus on flashy presentation amd style, and not enough time given to flesh out the notable persons, their stories, motivations etc. For example the central figure Patrice Lumuba, we finish the film still not really knowing not a lot about him, other than the surface details. The middle part of the films should've settled down into talking heads with the
occasional stylistic flourishes interspersed.
Also the jazz connection seems a bit bolted on, doesn't really seem that key to the coup detat and United nations events. Or if it is connected then care is not taken to explain why. Although I did find it cool to have jazz music going on throughout the film.
Overall, still a very cool and and ambitious concept. But perhaps labours under it's own concept too much rather than just telling the story. Could easily cut 20 mins off the runtime.

I was hoping for loads of in depth discussion and review of the evidence for the black Knight itself. Instead there was a lot of speculation about telepathy, quantum entanglement, politics, society. The movie played like a really long trailer. It never slowed down to go into anything in depth, and the structure was all over the place. The topic changed minute to minute and nothing was explained systematically.
In my opinion the doc needed to get straight into the history of the radar signals, and the empirical data that led people to notice it was a satellite in the first place, and THEN get on to the images and things that came later. These things were touched briefly and glossed over.
The visuals were quite good, plenty of interesting things to look at.
