  • What do you think when you f * * k your wife?

That is one question you could be asked by a friend or a shrink...being asked that by a serial killer sitting in a cage behind bars is a different thing. I just watched the movie and I am still in it. It was the highest tension I have experienced for a long time. When I read about the movie and it being compared to Silence of the Lambs I thought that no German director could create the perfect nightmare...but I thought wrong. I especially liked the fact that the officer from a very small village...389 souls aren't that much...has to deal with a killer who has been caught in the big city. The movie contains very interesting characters and is a technical masterpiece. I liked the beginning very much and was happy with the killer. He is evil and very clever! Madames en monsieurs...10 points go to Germany for the Best Thriller of the Year: Antikörper

  • A nightmare on wedding-street!

I've seen many good movies but this one was really great. Armin Rohde plays the role of the rich man who doesn't know a words like "unsuccesful" or "no" so realistic that he really scared me. I mean who goes for a hunt after church on his way to his own son's wedding dinner. The hole film is really funny as long as you know that your own father or stepfather doesn't look OR act like the character Armin Rohde plays.

The conflicts in the film don't seem unrealistic. The setting, the hotel and restaurant, are wonderful. The actors fulfill their roles in a way that is not too soap- or sitcom-like and once again it is a pity that most German movies are not translated into English.

If you liked "Meet the Fockers" you will like that one too.

  • I lost 80 minutes of my life.

First of all... don't watch this movie without knowing that you are going to have a good movie which will heal your wounds after watching this movie! A 5.5 stars rated film of any genre should do. 6.5 stars might even make your evening if compared with this movie. When I heard of Daniel Der Zauberer being in the bottom Top 100 I decided that it is my duty as an anti-Daniel-fan to watch this movie. By the way, I've seen 'Plan 9 from out of Space' too but for a different reason. This movie was the most horrible experience in my whole life. I almost bit my hand off while listening to the totally senseless dialogue's and the lethal singing of this halfbreed. He can't be from this planet!

The worst scene is Dannyboy sitting there reading his own fan-mail to his entire family and giving comment on every letter written by young girls and old ladies...how can you dare? Then after this first torture he goes jogging and sings the whole time.

I'm very sorry that he managed not to be shot in the neck by his kidnappers. That would be a reason to watch this movie again. I agree with my German friends that this movie is the biggest waste of time and resources. All thumbs down!!!

Only goody: You come to see all his crashes and humiliations from the days in the Jungle Camp!!!
