It's a very well made film to be honest, stylishly and atmospherically shot with a neo-noir feel, there are also some good use of locations and the editing is tight and crisp; making the action coherent and not resorting to the often seizure inducing shaky cam technique...
The music is energetic and even haunting at times without being brash or overly bombastic, with very effective use of silence.
Werner Herzog is mesmerising as the villainous Zec and he should play bad guys more often in big movies.
While not entirely original, Jack Reacher is both a competent mystery thriller and an exciting action film!

I think it's pretty fair to say that if you mostly enjoyed the first two amusingly hectic instalments of the blithely bellicose 'White Collar Hooligan' series then you are quite likely to appreciate the third, as it varies the thuggish modus operandi not one iota, only upping the glamour quotient since it is blessed with such a cinematically exotic setting as Rio, and talking about delightful sparklers, lucky barsteward Damien's holiday bunk-up is with an especially juicy-looking jewel, the beautifully bronzed Brazilian brass Yasmin (Sephora Venites). With its quality bants, knock about action and a few boozy, old school barneys, Paul Tanter's boisterous Brazilian ruck is a giraffe and a half, mayte! And even if you couldn't abide the earlier films, in this specific instance there's far more intentional humour than you might have thought possible.
A very good film. This needs to be seen from a load of different people as it's a brave short film to tell. This certainly is a thrilling tale of ex soldiers driven into society like today. The main actor who plays the protagonist was very good, liked his performance throughout as it's serious and easy to be drawn into his progression from homeless man to a man of honour. A gripping short film that's shot in such a way that looks cinematic and engaging. It will easily grab the audiences attention and captivated their minds and souls in emotional tearjerker mode. Ryan Enever! What a performance!
