Valerie Curtin, a character actress so good in several notable movies of the 1970s (and married to notable director Barry Levinson) guest stars as a hippie chick who becomes a target when a commune guru whom she loves entrusts her with a pile of suspicious cash (apparently because he assumes that she's way too ditzy to suspect him). Not only did I dislike her performance here, but I don't care for the way this series treated the occasional '60s hippie character, in general. People who are usually loving and trusting of others must be just stupid putzes, eh? So I'm rounding down a star for the makers not learning anything during an entire decade.
