Darkland The Return is even better than the first Darkland and I loved it. Just found it this week and searched everywhere for the second part in English and finally found it after a few days of searching. Dar is just an amazing actor. I think he's my new favorite! I'm American so Darkland was the first movie I'd ever seen him in but I now plan to watch all his movies. He made me really feel what he was supposed to be feeling without using any words.
With that said, every actor in this movie was good to be honest. Soheil Bavi, Stine and Birgitte were good as well. I certainly hope there's going to be a 3rd part though, considering the ending.

I previously gave this show a negative review. I felt there were a couple cases involving convicted white men I thought absolutely could have been innocent. At the very least, they shouldn't have been convicted with such flimsy evidence.
I felt Chris and Fatima overlooked those cases but showed support and compassion toward the black men(who I think also could be innocent)and their families who were on the show. It bothered me because it seemed blatant.
After I left that review, I recall later reading more information about one of the cases involving one of the white men I thought was innocent. I wasn't so sure anymore. So, that made me think possibly Chris and Fatima know more than the show tells us and maybe they do have a good sense about who is lying or not. After all, it is their job to figure this stuff out.
I had sworn to never watch another season but caved with this latest season 8 and have watched 4-5 episodes. They have changed my thoughts on them because they have now offered help to a couple white men as well.
I simply like to correct things when I've possibly been wrong. So, I wanted to change my review.
Besides everything else I just mentioned, I think the show is great! I thoroughly enjoy it and I do think Chris and Fatima show genuine care for the families on this show. Others have mentioned how this show harms and exploits. I don't see it that way at all! If I were wrongly convicted and in prison, I'd gladly use this show to try to free myself. To bring some awareness to my case. Whatever it takes.

From episode 1 to 7 this show has sustained my interest in a big way. I love mystery and suspense in my shows and Truth Be Told is full of that!
The acting of all characters is on point too in my opinion. Octavia Spencer's was the perfect person for this role. Her husband on the show Michael Beach is excellent an excellent actor too! Of course, Aaron Paul does a fabulous job, as always, at making you feel what he's feeling throughout the show. I just love this show and the entire cast. They all come together to make you see them as real, living, breathing people. This, along with a complex, but well thought out storyline, makes this one of my faves of all time! Can't wait for episode 8!
