A haunting story for sure, if you're a person able to connect with human stories. I felt connected to the man character from jump and enjoyed seeing her life outside of work, her people, her places, and her concerns/fears. I definitely felt a personal longing to see more of her own life and less of the her job...but i think the character did too and that was the whole point.
It kept me engaged throughout the film and the last few scenes overran me with emotion. A slow burn. A beautifully done film.
Also, not scary in the typical horror film way. So if you're a scaredy cat like me, safe to watch.

He Played Me was fun and enjoyable! I think it being based on a true story helped to provide a natural feel to some of the characters. They were interesting people who I wanted to know more about.
There were def parts of the story that were confusing and stuff that I felt was missing and a few unintentionally funny moments. But overall there was drama and intrigue and I would 100% recommend watching it if you're into the genre.
