Literally Law and Order meets Psych, except Psych leaned into the comedy like 90%. This show has 10% comedy and the rest tried to be a typical "detective" show which makes it unbearable. Total bummer because she's hilarious. Obviously Always Sunny in Philadelphia. The Mick was equally funny, so great! This fake lawyer, cop show is garbage. I was also so sad to see Judy Reyes in this. I mean, happy to see her getting a network show like she deserves because she's awesome, but sad because this show is awful.
I LOVED Psych. It was funny and didnt take itself seriously. Law and Order is garbage because it's corny, predictable, boringly formulaic, and bland. This show is Law and Order...

Can we just agree that M Night is done? This was atrocious! One of the worst things I've seen in a long time. The writing was unbearable and the dialogue was weirdly worse. Plot holes galore, waay too many coincidence moments that are laughable. So cringy at every turn. I can't believe anyone gave this dumpster fire above a 2 rating. I didn't even get into how this entire movie seemed like a shameful way to promote his daughter. Really? Play more than a handful of her music, basically make the viewers watch a concert under the failed guise of a suspense thriller. Never again will M Night fool us. The twist was that I actually watched till the end. Huge regret.
It's a very watchable show. Not great but not terrible. It would have been way better as a 30 min per episode comedy instead of the overly ambitious 45 min episode "dramedy" it apparently attempted. The funny moments are solid but lost between long periods are dullness and scenes that tend to last too long. The "drama" falls flat in the wake of silliness and yet it's the so called serious moments that fill most of the time. I really like the concept of this time period and how people might have reacted during the chaos but I think the execution is lacking in this one. That being said, there are some solid performances by the cast.
