Honestly, this is garbage.

Reviews giving it any more than a 5 are doing that as fans of the era, the acting or the fact it's a QT movie. I'm giving this a 2 solely because Margot Robbie is always a pleasure to see.

I wanted to like this movie but it was unbearably pointless. Meandering aimlessly with absolutely no point to make other than Ricky was an actor at the end of his career. The Tate murder it's supposed to be based on, never happened in the movie.

The narration that came and went towards the tail end of the movie seemed really odd too, and i found it irritating.

Really struggled to finish this and appreciate it. If there were any merits, then i missed them. To be fair it must have taken me 4 separate sittings to eventually reach the end. Relieved it is now over, and upset that i gave this so much time.

Avoid this one.

I would highly recommend watching this. Was truly fascinating and well documented. Ok some effects were ropey but otherwise great. I felt they cut out the Great Whites' involvement and detailed barely any information of it, after giving the others more screen time. Ok we know all about Whites but still it was evident they moved on a bit abruptly.

I could have watched more about the place called Elim and their involvement and in general.

Those are the reasons it doesn't get a ten for me.

Amazing, but very terrifying and awful heist / massacre story with supporting dramatisation, expert analysis and fairly dated looking film.

As i have so many characters left before i can submit my review, I was curious as to why there were no other reviews. Do we not do that for documentaries?

Fact: this is my first review.

Some awful acting made worse by terrible editing. Girls screaming when they see their boyfriend dead in the sauna, then nonchalantly walks into another room as if that scene never happened. They play a ouiji like game for about 10 seconds after talking about it for ten minutes.

Film does not explore 7 sins in any way. Somehow the trailer we saw made it look better than it is.

Loosely put together, nonsensical waste of the £100 budget. Its too long as well, cannot believe we tolerated it. Sizemores small part was embarrassing. The Only redeeming quality of this movie is the stunning girls and nudity.
