This is my all time favorite Anna Karenina. Actors, wardrobe and sets absolutely gorgeous. About time. I have watched it three times. It did justice to the Tolstoy novel. Oh my beating heart be still , that Vronsky. Anna heartbreakingly gorgeous.
The PBS 1977 version is good .
My favorite Christmas movie . Touching little storyI I just love this movie . It is sweet gentle and kind. And I love that it doesn't have big blockbuster stars in it. You can keep it a wonderful life I've never cared for Jimmy Stewart's acting style. I guess I am in that 1% but who cares. He was better in the Hitchcock's thrillers when he got a little older. his golly Gee idiot style in early movies was never my style. Too each his own.
What a long boring movie. At the beginning when Rock and Liz fell in love was kind of nice romantic. But I could not stomach the James Dean character just could not. I wanted somebody to knock his lights out I could not stand him. I was never a big James Dean fan anyway that was for my older sisters and cousins not for me.
