The idea of doing a Twilight Zone-ish satire about capitalism, greed and race is a good one but the movie just gets a bit too stupid and silly for me. The horse people, the boss, the corporate structure, all of it probably started as a good idea but it is never made clear what's really going on at this place or in people's lives, and nothing really comes together in the end. Liked the ending though - sweet revenge!

This is one of the worst Video On Trial spin offs they ever did and that is saying a lot because they all sucked. Stars Gone Wild, Heat Meter, Headlines On Trial, the new version of Video On Trial, they all sucked but Love Court might be the very worst and was not funny at all. She was terrible for one thing.

I don't know why they made so many attempted Video On Trial spin offs because they all sucked. I just reviewed Heat Meter which sucked because they just did the same thing but without music videos, which just didn't work at all. And this show Headlines On Trial is just about the same thing as that, another version without music videos that didn't work at all. The new version of Video On Trial really sucked and got canceled and also Stars Gone Wild really sucked and had them acting out characters for some stupid reason. That Love Court show was another one that really sucked, that one or Stars Gone Wild must be the worst of them all. These were big mistakes and ruined the series completely which is too bad because Video On Trial was the best thing on Much Music for years and it could still be if they hadn't wrecked it like that.
