2015 was a year of intense chinese historic drama competition. The Legend of Miyue garnered harsh comments and low rating.
I took a chance and discovered from the clothing designs to dialogue to set decor to storyline, Miyue is a spectacular series.
Wild child Miyue was born into a ruthless man's world. She fought against the evil intentions from the women in the harem and struggled to find her place in life. She sought comfort in learning and amassed a wealth of knowledge and life long friendships. Despite her bad circumstances, she persevered and became the most powerful woman in history.
