Young Sheldon (2017)
Finally it's over....
I knew from the beginning that this show had it's ending already written. When George died or it could have gone on after he died.
Sheldon on Young Sheldon or the Big Bang Theory was the most annoying character on TV. I wouldn't put up with him and I can hardly believe they found six people who would. That's sad.
On The Big Bang Theory, Sheldon mentioned more than once that his Dad died when he was Twelve. When Young Sheldon started he was mentioned as being Ten. That would mean George would have died within two years of the show.
But alas it took George another five years to do that, when Sheldon was 17 and in College.. Huh.
Bob Hearts Abishola: Sad Cupcakes (2024)
Love this Show ... except for few issues ...
From the start I love the premise of he idea. It was adorable. Then Cammy- Kammy whatever .. I didn't like her character from the start .. So annoying ... Then Abishola's Mother ..??? Run her over with a Bus. I actually hated her character. She is beyond annoying. Thankfully I stream and download I can avoid all conversations with her on-screen presence.
I googled the show and found out it is ending after season five due to Hollywood crap. Sad. Since I don't have cable, I stream everything ... nice to know I don't have to deal with ignorant commercials or programs the stifle the life out of people per NBC,CBS or others ...
Bob Hearts Abishola was refreshing sitcom with fun characters .. except for Cammi or Abishola's Mother. Puke.
I like Deli's and his character, he is a dancer in real life, tht is awesome.
(If I spelled anything wrong sue IMDB, wouldn't let me go back and change it)
Resident Alien: The Upper Hand (2024)
Levi show's his feet !!!!!
Hottest episode ever in TV, even though I stream video's. I don't know what the producers were thinking when they came up with this episode. Obviously someone there has a foot fetish. Very Cool BTW.
I have loved this show from the very start. It's fun, it's quirky. It's different than other shows.
Everyone likes labels, label this ... label that this show is fun, it keeps my interest throughout the episode. This episode blew my mind. Forgive me ... an African American guy taking pictures of a White guys foot ???? For sale on the internet ?
This show just presented a very real sexual desire without being sexual about it. Levi has the most gorgeous feet on television. ((((Applause )))
The Neighborhood: Welcome to the Haunting (2021)
One of the Best Episodes
This is a favorite episode of mine. Close to Halloween 2023, and I find myself watching it over and over. I never get bored of this episode.
I think it was well written, and all of the characters were perfect in their roles for this episode. It was spooky, it was very, very funny to me. It is also right up my alley as I also like to pull Halloween pranks on friends and family.
I don't think there is one thing that I would criticize about it.
This show is one of my absolute favorites shows from the start. I always look forward to the next episode. This show also touches on issues we all have to deal with, and they do it with compassion and love.
It's just entertaining, it also has a message to give us all that we very much benefit from.
Frasier (2023)
I couldn't stop watching
Honestly, I did not watch the original Frasier, now I feel I have to. I found it to be funny, really fun cast that I hope last. **I made a rhyme**
Seriously though, this was filmed in front of a live audience. The audience did like it. I laughed with them. I found it to have brilliant writers who figured out how to make the show funny in almost every scene and to me it was. I could not stop watching.
The co-stars kept me in stitches. Nicholas Lyndhurst was amazing at the one-liners, facial expressions. Anders Keith does not have a lot of acting experience, yet he was just a lovely, endearing, goofball of a character. Jack Cutmore-Scott was simply perfect for his character on this show. Jess Salgueiro, she's spunky and fun and I look forward to seeing her character blossom on the show.
The Blacklist: Raymond Reddington (No. 00): Good Night (2023)
The Loss of a Phenomenal TV show
Every single episode kept me interested, in love with Raymond and the team. This is truly a loss for Television. I have loved this show from the very first episode. The ending, lets get to that. It was thee most incredible ending (my opinion) I have ever seen. I still have tears in my eyes as I write this. James Spader, whim I love in everything he has done. Wolf (1994) Boston Legal is was absolutely incredible, Mr. Spader was also incredible.
To lose The Blacklist is like losing a friend. What an amazing storyline. I read where Mr. Spader chose to end the show with the loss of "Liz", "Aram" and a few others. The Blacklist what a Hit show. Why would actors jump ship?
As far as the ending, cannot watch it without tearing up. Loss of the show and "Raymond's" death was a lot to take in. The cast is incredible. The introduction of the new characters was awesome! I didn't even miss the old characters because the new one's more than replaced the one's who chose to leave.
The writing of the ending is beyond words. Red did it His Way. I will not disclose spoilers. I think I may have already done that.
James Spader's character was a never ending cycle of intrigue and fascination. I applaud each and every one of the actors on this show.
Star Trek: Picard: Surrender (2023)
Always a treat to Watch a timeless series
I was admittedly hesitant to first watch this series. Now we are on Season 3 and I cannot wait for the next episode ! I Love all of the characters. It's simply incredible.
I have loved all of the Series. This one is "Picard" is going to be as eternal as the others.
Loved the story line and how they interact with each other. Family having fun and they know each other so well as characters on the show from previous working relationships. It is such an incredible fit. They have all aged so well.
The story line takes one on a journey that is never ending twists and turns. I obviously do not want to give away any spoilers. That is hard not to do. LOL
I will say this though and I know it may come off as a spoiler, I don't think it is. It is more of an observation.
The "F" word made it into Star Trek script. I guess we had better get used to it. I have heard it on so many shows. I hope it never comes down to "Calvin" telling "Dave" on "The Neighborhood" to go "f--- himself." That would lose me as a viewer.
John Wick: Chapter 4 (2023)
Excellent Addition to the Wick Drama
First off, I thought the movie was like .... right? So when I was like watching it I was like ... and then it hit me .. right? How can a person not watch this film and feel ... Like ... Right? Totally.
It is crazy but this has to be like... wow ... so cool and soooo... like .right? OMG it was wonderful to watch and like ... no way but then it was like so cool and then I was like ... wow... right?
I mean if one is going to like watch a film like this one, then one has to be like ... ya know... and also like. It really made the entire like stuff like come together like a cake mix, ya know?
I love the entire like ... john wick films...'cause they are so much like .... ya know .. like ... right?
A Town Called Malice (2023)
Better than a typical Family in today's world !
So much love in the story line astounded me from the start ! - I could relate to the characters and the entire story line. Exceptional Value for the time it took to watch.
Very pleased with the characters in general. What I think did it for me was the entire sound track ! - Every song brought back a flood of memories. That alone was enough to watch it all again. Instead I made a visit to YouTube and downloaded the songs ! - Incredible.
I can imagine that with every "New" short series we will have to get used to hearing the F word. It's everywhere now. I heard it on several shows. I am not enjoying it but it is very much "regular" conversation.
I thoroughly enjoyed this series. I will not nit-pick like some have done - "Not Authentic" -- Umm .. No show is. Not a one.
Thank You for this Series. ! Well Done !
Not Dead Yet: Pilot (2023)
Incredibly satisfying
What a cute, very entertaining show. Skeptic at first, then really delved into the atmosphere of the comedy induced show with a serious side as well.
I look forward to more shows. I think the writers tapped into a fun idea and my hope is that they make every episode as entertaining as the first.
As new shows seep to appear overnight, it is ... to me one of the better ones and I hope it will be on air for at least 5 (five) seasons.
I say give it time and I am sure even you will find this show is worth the watch.
I think the fact that IMDB has at least a 600 characters a little on the Much side of the equation.
Side note, did anyone else see the "goof?" the Pashmina kept slipping off of Cricket's shoulder. (near the end)
Three Wise Men and a Baby (2022)
Crazy Fun, with a much improved story-line.
Very well done! (I thought) Love the actors, (both male and female). Well put together story and cute, even with the "neighbor" everyone seems to have.
Truly enjoyable and not at all ... typical Christmas time movie. Kept me interested all the way through.
I love to see the sometimes "screw-up's" or bloopers that stay in the movie or tv show and this one had a couple that I just could not ignore.
At the end when the Mom comes in and talks about what the True meaning of Christmas is to Her. I noticed that Luke (Andrew Walker) was laying on the sofa with a cup of coffee or hot chocolate the shot is at the end of the sofa where he is twiddling his black socked feet around. When he gets up for the Family hug, he is barefoot.
Then not long after, Stephen (Paul Campbell) stops by Susie (Fiona Vroom) house and noticed that the road was wet, (melting snow) but Stephen car looks like it should be sitting on a show room floor it is so clean. Just a thought. **shrugs***
Bob Hearts Abishola: Kicked Outta the Dele Club (2022)
All Due Respect .... NOT
This was an amazing story line.
Here is what is troubling. All due respect for different cultures, I get it. Here is my issue with Abishola's mother. - When Bob said to her "I'm talking to my wife" I already knew where this was going. And it really ticked me off.
I respect other cultures, as I would hope they would respect mine. Bob has continually jumped threw "Hoops" since he and Abishola started dating.
Bottom line on that is She is a guest in MY Home. I would not be leaving to sleep somewhere else. She would be ... I would even call the Police and an Uber to accomplish that result.
That is the sad point of the whole story line. I would not put up with that kind of behavior and the "entitled" attitude that seems to be the underlying theme.
Disappeared: The Long Drive Home (2022)
Police dropped the ball
It's disturbing, and real. To Me, the cops dropped the ball in the onset of the investigation. One cop sad - "No matter where is his he is naked." Just because they found his undergarment's does not mean he is naked. That "opinion" is purely speculation. Jason's dad was on the mark, cops did not due their due diligence in this investigation. That is messed up on all level's.
They as a whole did a lot, when they were prodded to do so. It's completely shameful how this was investigated. People who took an oath to uphold the law and those they serve was not seen or on seen with this particular case. That is so disappointing.
Kevin Can F**k Himself: Allison's House (2022)
Not the ending I was expecting ... But Loved
The build-up to this last episode was spot on, even though it was not the "ending" I was expecting. Well deserved for "Kevin". The top Narcissistic personality I have ever had to watch. Incredibly done.
Exceptional series with a lot if twists and turns that kept me coming back for the next episode. "Future reference, that is how you write for a show." Part comedy, dark humor, drama, lots of "potty" words, It was a well rounded series that was always enjoyable to watch.
I do have one question. Why was the living room "set" - very much like the living room in "All in the Family?" Just curious.
Sad to see it go. In the end, I actually felt a bit sad for Kevin - an emotion I never thought I would have over a loathsome character. Thank You for this Series.
Well Done.
She-Hulk: Attorney at Law (2022)
Finally a Worthy Superhero Show
I was hesitant at first, I don't watch hardly any of the Superhero shows as it is. Not the Flash, lost interest in Superman & Lois etc. She-hulk is enjoyable, great characters with plenty of humorous lines that pepper the dialogue.
I Look Forward to the continuation of this show !
Untold (2021)
Here I thought "Catfish" was fried and served with Fries? Huh.
The Documentary was exceptional. (My Opinion) - I've read several of the Reviews, My Turn:
"'Lennay'" as much as everyone would like to believe, did not "destroy" Manti the media did a fine job of keeping an exemplary person "down." I in fact knew nothing about this story, even though it was a high-profile piece of an upcoming football "Star." I don't watch any sports in any capacity at any level. I have absolutely no interest, never will.
The media, as told in this documentary, got a "blip" of the story and turned it into a media circus. Integrity and media do not deserve to be in the same sentence. Period. Because this was a high profile "incident" it got plenty of play and coverage, inaccurate at best, downright "fill in the blank" media opinion.
What Lennay "did" to Manti was inexplicably wrong. Period. Lennay was treading water in an unknown persona that needed to be explored and along the way he used Manti as part of his exploration. Simple right? Not so much, it was taken to a level of extreme that is still undefinable even with todays expanded vocabulary. That is sad. The story is sad.
To ME the media is 85% absolutely at fault for instigating the initial story to get so blown out of proportion with half truths, speculation, inuendo's, and downright distorted facts. Lest they forget that people watch them for the exact opposite of they are actually selling? The Truth.
I actually broke down to tears when Manti was again once on the field where he was heckled, things thrown at him, called names. Seriously Folks? Isn't that considered Bullying? It is, and shame on anyone who participated in shaming Manti for something he was excusably clueless of or about. Should have known better? Sure. He was not someone who lived on the internet / phone like most people do today. I do not. I use it when I need to make a phone call, that's it. Period.
A Situation that has expanded to over 10 years, was scrunched into a two hour, two chapter Netflix Documentary, and still I don't think anyone of us will know the complete, truthful story of what actually happened.
People are "Catfished," eating catfish, fried, broiled whatever every day. Think of the stories that involve women & Men who are Catfished into giving away their personal fortunes in search of "Love." This happens every day.... every day. Women or Men convince their "new" partner to kill their "old" partner, "Its the only way we will be happy together.' Please.
"Catfishing" is just another Synonym for "Liar." Period.
All Rise: Fire and Rain (2022)
Strong episode ..
I've read the reviews of others. (((shakes head))) - I've read "I watched the first 2 seconds and deleted it from my DVR Que" really? DVR is so early 2000's.
I believe this episode was modeled after Jan 6 stuff in DC. I think the thing that was the most real was that this could actually happen, anywhere.
Everyone on that show is a millionaire. You are not. You sit and watch TV all day. What does that say about you?
Evil by Design: Exposing Peter Nygård (2022)
So many Reasons of ignorance to Ponder
No woman or Man that beautiful should ever let their guard down, Ever. It's that simple. Nygard is a disgusting Troll of a human. It's only fair he should now die a lonely, old man who has absolutely no respect from anyone. That is reasonable. Take away everything he thought he was.
For the Women, I hope in some way they can find closure and peace in that knowing.
The Dukes of Hazzard (2005)
All Star Cast - BUT ... Off on the Obvious
At the End, Dukes were racing on a dirt road -... UMMMM ... how do tire squealing effects happen on a dirt road?
Very pleased with the Cast. I liked them all and it was great to see all the "Old" muscle cars in play in this film, my great, great, great Grandpa Loved it !
All Rise: Lola Through the Looking Glass (2022)
All Rise meets the "Twilight Zone" --- OMG
I was so confused with this episode I had to watch it twice --- Then I settled my Nerves with a large mug of Chamomile Tea.. I hope the writers don't tank this show, I really do. I have Loved this show from the onset.
Everyone can have an "Off" day, let's hope this is the last of for the writers.
All Rise: Fool for Liv (2019)
Wish courts were like this episode
I found the entire episode with great care for feelings, biased attitudes and for sure justice. I've actually been in court when a rouge attorney tried to take control of it. Trust me Price got off easy. In reality it can be much worse.
I loved the parallel love story between a mixed race white man and African woman. It was beautiful - To me. It was a nice addition to an already great story line.
Jurassic World: Dominion (2022)
Incredible Story Line... I love Chris Bratt <-- Yes I spelled it Right
I never get tired of the Jurassic Movies. Yes, the very first one was off the charts Entertaining ! - Incredible ! - This one has a lot more action and suspense but I enjoyed it very much. I think the issue we all may have is it is compared to the other Jurassic movies and well, that is the rub for the lower reviews. Sad but True.
All Rise: Wanna Be Startin' Somethin' (2022)
Judge Lola is BACK
I am so thrilled that this show was picked up for a Season 3.
The show opened with a few twists and turns, New characters and some replaced by different actors. I wont spoil alert any of this.
Sufficive to say, I fell right back in Love with this show,
The Blacklist: Marvin Gerard (No. 80): Conclusion Pt. 2 (2022)
I can not get enough of "The Blacklist"
This episode showed what a true "bad-ass" Redington (James Spader) can be. To me it was incredible. The twists and turns of every episode is what keeps me coming back for more. Yes I could have said suspenseful nature of each plot, I didn't. Well now I guess I did. ((shrugs)) Love Mr., Spader have always been a fan back from the Boston Legal days. Brilliant actor.
WeCrashed (2022)
Just Incredible (To Me)
I was wary of Jared Leto. I truly have not seen him in a lot of anything actually. I personally think he was absolutely amazing and I do have a new found respect for Mr. Leto and his Craft. Anne Hathaway, what is to say about that actor. To me ... She is incredible and so versatile and she does not disappoint in this feature either.
I thoroughly am enjoying this show.
