It's not that bad if you expect it to be bad. I red the reviews before I watched the series. I'm not a fan of The Weeknd, but best part is his music. As for the acting, maybe Da'Vine Joy Randolph as Destiny shines the most. Good to see Jennie from Blackpink and Troye Sivan, but they can't act really. The weakest acting comes from Weeknd.
The series is more about manipulation, sex, addiction to other people and less about the music industry. The story lacks progress. The environment in which the main characters operate is unpleasant, depressing and one that one would not want to be in.
I'm glad it lasted only for 5 episodes. They could make it in to a 2 hour movie, maybe that would save it, but I doubt it.

Wonderful takeback to the beginning of the Spice Girls world domination, combined with the process of making the Viva Forever musical. The girls as a band truly have became timeless. Their songs are so simple and pure, great front line pop songs. Song "Viva Forever" in my opinion is one of the greatest ballads of all time. Simply wonderful!
I've seen many documentaries about Lady Diana throughout the years and this surprised me with some unseen footage. Plus I like those docs where Dianas friends spoke about her and not royal biographers. It could have been longer, but overall a good celebration of her 60th birthday.
