In the Basement!!!!
I was with the series until this episode. And then I just couldn't get away from the perhaps unintentional "Pee-wee's Big Adventure" reference.
Most of this show is pretty decent. But it's a little long and drawn out to try to tell a two hour movie story over an expanse of 10 episodes.
As the series has gotten into its middle episodes, it's gotten a little bit too much YA fiction-like. With all the "are they aren't they" relationship things going on I have to say I've kind of lost interest.
Don't know if there's gonna be a second season or not of this. Also, don't know what's going on with National Treasure 3.

For any of us who were in high school at the time of this movie, t Real here's so much that rings true. The story, the performances, everything about this movie cuts to a very deep level. Even here 44 years later, I am still deeply moved by the performances, the story...everything about this movie strikes a resonant chord.
Thank you to director Tony Bill, the cast, and crew for creating such a vivid, indelible portrait of high school life in the late 70s and early 80s. If anyone was that awkward kid trying to fit in, this movie rings extremely true. A real gem of a movie, and one which still makes me have feelings today.
