Based on true events, our short film tells the story of Margaret Winters, a young woman, who is chosen to study at the first female college West of the Mississippi: the Mansfield Female College. It closes because of the Civil War and becomes a hospital for soldiers. Margaret struggles to find her place in this film of chaos. The story of the film was conceived by Travis Mills and he directed the film. It was produced, written by and features Heather Fusari in the lead role. It was shot by Jonathan Hammond and scored by David Obaniyi. Other actors in the film include Matt Story, Jency Griffin Hogan, Susan G. Davis, Cotton Yancey, Philip Lawrence and Elise McMurry.
