Go Steady - Music Video (Dance Anthem from feature film, Rough & Ready)
Go Steady! - Winner of Best Music Video (2018)
The dance track, comedy music video and feature film promo (Rough & Ready) with a safe sex, safe life ethos.
By letting go of the fake and using intuition cautiousness and self control people can avoid falling foul of poorly matched partners by opting out of the easy "hole in one" money grab.
Exchanging unhealthy thoughts of material greed can be key to finding someone we truly love and who truly loves us.
Understanding who you are, how important it is to understand your inner sexual animal, to heed the advice of real friends and your own inner consciousness is a key function of our "Go Steady" message.
The lyrics iterate the support of real friends supporting us with timely advice throughout life. Go Steady!, Getcha Heels On Molly!, Quality Control. By putting ourselves through our own form of quality control we allow ourselves to see the clear distinction between material obsession and spiritual happiness as we all set out to find the perfect soul mate.
Go Steady, uses comic sexualized themes to purposefully display the primitive traits of some Rough & Ready characters, of whom some making brief appearances (Including a special appearance by lead Actor Nick Newbould) in the visual narrative within our music video, whilst further defining their character roles in the UK independent comedy feature film Rough & Ready (2018). The films title can be seen boldly emblazoned over the fuselage of the chief phallic symbol in our promo music video. The emphasis and scale of this inflated phallic symbol is visual code for the enormous sexual problem of one of the lead characters in the film Mr. Excalibur (aka Jeff) who we briefly see taking on the hero role in Molly's dream sequence and running past Molly's parked car on the beach.
"Go Steady" Shows us that miracles can and do exist just as we all do but they come in ever morphing shapes and sizes...
Go Steady in life. Dance. Sing. Love.
