It's not often we get new racing games for the Commodore Vic-20, but searching through the itch io website earlier today, we've found out that Huffelduff has released the Commodore Vic-20 game of 'Formula V20 1985'. A new game in that the developer says is a nod to classic Commodore 64 games such as Pitstop II and Pole position.. In light of this news as ever we've got some new footage of this arcade racer which can be found below.

Got yourself a high end Commodore Amiga and want to make the most of it? Then come and check out this new Amiga port that's been released as 'Speed Haste/Circuit Racer' by BSzili. A port of a shareware arcade racing game, that was originally created by NoriaWorks Entertainment for MS-DOS between 1995 and 1999. A game that allows you to race F1 or Stock Cars around a variety of circuits in either Practice, Single Race or Championship modes. Wardner - Toaplan/Taito's Arcade game is coming to the Commodore Amiga via RetroRic
Fresh off the press with an exclusive reveal for the Commodore Amiga community, as we've recently been informed by our good friend Aaron White, that the 1987 Arcade game of 'Wardner', is coming to the Amiga via RetroRic and developed using Earok's Scorpion Engine. If you've not heard of this game before, it's a side-scrolling platformer developed by Toaplan and published in arcades worldwide by Taito in 1987. A game in which you play as Dover on a journey to rescue his kidnapped girlfriend Mia from the evil warlock. In light of this news, we've got some early footage of the game below.
Bad Dudes vs DragonNinja conversion is in the works via JOTD for the Amiga [Alpha Update]
Well this is incredible news!! As an IndieRetroNews reader, has recently informed us in our comments feed, that JOTD is still working on a Bad Dudes vs DragonNinja Arcade conversion for the Commodore Amiga (AGA). Although it's still in a very early stage of development, and the original Amiga version of the game was regarded as terrible with one such Lemon Amiga saying "This is absolute dreck with horrible graphics, terrible backgrounds, how did this get released in this state?" Rest assured if JOTD finishes this conversion, it's sure to be another hit in the Amiga scene.
Phantom Leap - A WIP Scorpion Engine developed Amiga game from Dr. Dangerous creator 'HooGames2017'

Asylum - The spiritual horror successor to Scratches has arrived on GOG and Steam!
As someone who loves paranormal TV shows and movies, there's something really chilling about the stories behind Asylums, especially with the dark decaying rooms and history of human suffering. So to hear that the creators of the cult sleeper hit Scratches and the haunting Serena, who we know as Senscape has announced that its extremely long development project of Asylum has finally been released on GOG and Steam, we just had to sit up and take notice.
Head Over Heels Deluxe - Top quality remake of an isometric retro classic is well worth checking out on Steam!
Head Over Heels was first released in 1987 for several 8-bit home computers such as the Amstrad, C64 and ZX Spectrum, but this faithful remake and deluxe edition, which was only recently released on Steam and has just got a new update, is based on the Spectrum version with all new gorgeous graphics and new features. Although originally designed by Jon Ritman, Bernie Drummond and developed by Ocean Software, this remake of Head Over Heels designed by Rusty Pixels, Ogre Games Ltd is well worth checking out indeed.
Hyper Wings - Geldo79 announces the final version of this fast based Amiga space shooter! [UPDATE]
The last news story from me unless something major comes out, as the previously announced Amiga shooter of 'Hyper Wings' by Geldo79, has hit the big 2.2 with a final version! An Asteroids and Star Control mash up which was developed in ASM. ZX Spectrum 'Rebelstar 2: Alien Encounter' is being remade for the Commodore Amiga
I wasn't expecting to do any writing today, especially with the sun being out and me resting. However this latest news item was just too good to pass on by! As I've recently found out through the EAB forums, that Hardwired is remaking the ZX Spectrum game of 'Rebelstar 2: Alien Encounter' over to the Commodore Amiga. As in his words "For the past 2 months I've been converting the Classic ZX Spectrum Game Rebelstar 2: Alien Encounter. Bomb Jack Extra Sugar - This Arcade classic as an Amstrad CPC remake via Anthony Flack looks super impressive!
I can still remember in the late 80's on my Amstrad CPC 464 playing the brilliant Arcade port ' Bomb Jack '. It is a game that required you the player to high jump and float about getting rid of all the bombs on the screen before they are used to blow up historic places of interest, which is made more difficult by the enemies on screen. So why is this game getting another mention? Well we've just been contacted by Xyphoe via Twitter, that this great game from back in the day, is now available as a fully fledged Arcade to Amstrad CPC remake by Anthony Flack.
