The International Road Federation (IRF Global) has successfully concluded the 13th IRF Caribbean Regional Congress, bringing together government leaders, road agencies, engineers, development partners, researchers, and industry professionals from across the Caribbean and beyond for four days of technical exchange, strategic dialogue, and regional collaboration.
Organized by IRF Global in partnership with the Institute of Transportation Engineering (ITE), the Summit provided a high-level platform for discussing how transport agencies can respond to mounting pressures from declining fuel-tax revenues, aging infrastructure assets, increasing safety demands, climate resilience requirements, and rapidly evolving technologies.
The International Road Federation and the World Bank hosted a complimentary global webinar on June 9, 2026, introducing the World Bank’s new guidelines on Performance-Based Contracts for road asset management.
