Hi!

I am a computer vision researcher at Toulouse INP. I teach at the ENSEEIHT engineering school and conduct research within the REVA group at IRIT.

My academic journey began at Politecnico di Milano (Italy), where I earned my degree in computer engineering in 2003 and completed a Ph.D. in Information Technology in 2007.

After my Ph.D., I held post-doc research positions at INRIA Grenoble and GIPSA Lab in Grenoble (France), focusing on camera models and real-time vision systems for mobile devices.

Since I joined Toulouse INP and IRIT in 2013, my research has centered on Computer Vision Geometry, with a particular focus on Camera Calibration, 3D reconstruction, structure from motion, and camera tracking, with applications in medical imaging, mobile computing, and multimedia systems.

I am also a contributor to AliceVision, an open-source 3D computer vision framework. The main graphical application of AliceVision is Meshroom, a node-based visual programming tool designed to create and manage complex processing pipelines, particularly for 3D reconstruction tasks.
