The Pec Dec is back again and includes these features:
The system capacity is rated at 350lb cable system rating.
To use the Pec Dec, you will need to have 24" of clearance behind the machine from the spine tube to the wall. (Pull the base of the machine 14" away from the wall.)
Only fits the IM2000 model.
Includes a new J hook cable so you can route the cable backwards for Pec Dec use or forwards for normal lat pull down use.

I think that this is a very effective and space-saving add-on to the excellent IM2000 system. It is simple to set-up, converts from "normal" set-up to Pec Dec set-up in about 30 seconds, and the pulley system is very smooth. The biggest problem with this, though, is the lack of adjustability of the Pec Dec arms. Maybe that is not feasible based on the pulley set-up, but the ability to adjust the starting point of the arms backward or forward would make this much more effective as a Pec Dec movement, based on your individual body type and the stretch you desire. And it would also double the value of this add-on, because it could then work for Rear Delt Flys as well. Maybe version 2.0 will have it?

This was a great addition to an already solid setup. It really adds diversity to my chest workouts and was easy to set up. My only two suggestions would be a way to have the pulley system not have to be disconnected every time to use the peck dec vs normal setup. Additionally, I wish the pec dec could be used for reverse flys to work your back muscles but still a good piece of equipment.

Hard to believe this is the first review since the product has been around for a while. I only got this because it was recommended on a YouTube channel I watch. It’s smooth and effective, doesn’t take up much space and is very quick to setup when going from using the pulley system on the smith machine part of the im2000. Very cool to have a pec deck in my home gym now.
