History & Culture

Ban is recognized as an ancient village with a rich cultural heritage. The community is predominantly agrarian, with agriculture being the main occupation. The village is known for its peaceful and cooperative lifestyle.

As per the elders of the village, Ban (बण) was primarily settled by a Jaat elder who migrated from Kaasan village in Kaithal district. He was accompanied by two others, who later settled in the nearby villages of Budha Kurukshetra and Jandhera. Initially, they reared their cattle on these lands, and later decided to permanently settle in these locations, forming the foundations of these villages.
