JYP Entertainment Corporation (“the Company” or “We”) values the personal information of users and is in full compliance with the Personal Information Protection Act and the Act on Promotion of Information and Communications Network Utilization and Information Protection.
This Privacy Policy (“Policy”) informs the users about how their personal information are used and what they are used for. The Policy further explains the methods taken to protect the user’s personal information.

We collect the following personal information for the use of the Website, provision of services, response to inquiries and reports, etc.

4Destruction of Personal Information
The Company immediately destroys personal information upon achieving the purpose of the information’s collection and use. The destruction procedure and methods are as follows.

After attaining the personal information’s purpose , the personal information is retained by the Company for a certain amount of time in accordance with the personal information protection grounds under the Company’s internal policy and applicable laws (refer to Period of Retention and Use) and thereafter destroyed. Any personal information transferred to a database will not be used for other purposes unless otherwise provided by law.

Personal information stored electronically is deleted through a technical method that prevents the restoration of any records.
5Disclosure of Personal Information
In principle, the Company does not provide personal information to any third parties. However, the Company may provide personal information to others under the following are exceptions.

6Outsourcing of Personal Information Processing
In order to process the user’s personal information effectively, the Company outsources the following personal information processing tasks:

7Rights of Users and Legal Representatives and Method of Exercising the Rights
- 1) The user may request the Company to suspend the processing of their personal information at any time. However, the Company may reject such requests if any applicable law allows such rejection.
- 2) If the user is a child under the age of 14, the legal representative has the right to withdraw consent on the inquiry, correction, deletion, suspension of processing, collection and use of the user’s personal information.
- 3) If a user requests correction of their personal information, the incorrect personal information shall not be used until the Company corrects the error.
8Measures to Ensure Safety of Personal Information
The Company takes the following technological, administrative, and physical measures necessary to ensure the safety of the user’s personal information in accordance with applicable laws, such as the Personal Information Protection Act.
- - Administrative measures: Establishment and implementation of internal management plans, regular personal information protection education for employees, etc.
- - Technological measures: Management of access rights to the personal information system, installation of access restriction system, installation of security program, etc.
- - Physical measures: Restriction of access to personal information storage locations, such as computer rooms and data storage rooms.
9Installment, Operation and Rejection of Automatic Personal Information Collection
The Company uses ‘cookies’ to store and search the user’s personal information frequently. A cookie is a small text file that the server sends to the user’s browser, which is used to operate the Website and is stored in user’s computer hard drives. The Company uses cookies for the following purposes.

- 1) Whether the use or provision is related to the original purpose of collection: This is determined based on whether the original purpose of collection and the purpose of the additional use or provision of information are related in nature or tendency.

- 3) Whether the additional use or provision of the user’s personal information unfairly infringes upon the user’s rights and interests: This is determined based on whether the user’s interests are substantially violated due to the additional use or provision of the user’s personal information, and whether such violations are inequitable.

14Amendments to the Privacy Policy
Amendments to the Policy will be effective as of the date of implementation.
