  • Review and agree to our online firearm ordering agreement.
  • Complete the checkout process with payment information.
  • State and local jurisdictions can impose additional background check fees and sales or firearm taxes that must be paid when you pick up your firearm.
  • Handguns must be shipped to an FFL store located in your state of residence.

  • Handgun buyers must be 21 years of age and older.
  • Long gun buyers must be 18 years of age or older.
  • Firearm purchases are subject to government regulation. It is your ultimate responsibility to ensure that you comply with all regulations on the purchase of firearms and ammunition.

Finding Your Local FFL Dealer

Online gun sales start with selecting your firearm at your online gun store and then finding a local Federal Firearm Licensed (FFL) dealer in your area. This location is where we will ship your order, and where you will pick it up. An FFL is generally a gun store or pawn shop that buys and sells firearms. To locate a licensed dealer, we have an FFL directory powered by FFL Easy that will help pinpoint a location that works for you.

  • It is best to call the FFL you choose to make sure they are willing to do the transfer and to check local and state laws regarding regulations on the firearm you want to purchase.
  • Some states such as California, Rhode Island, and Washington D.C., have rules that might impede your transfer, so if you reside in those areas, check with your preferred FFL before placing your order.

Picking Up Your Gun From the FFL Dealer

Once the firearm ships from the online gun store, it will arrive at your chosen FFL dealer. There are a few simple steps you will need to take in order to transfer the gun into your possession. When you place your order, you will receive tracking information and an email when the package has arrived. Generally, it will arrive within 5-8 business days (15-18 business days in Alaska.)

  • Call the FFL and schedule a time to pick up your gun and fill out the necessary paperwork. Be sure to pick it up within two weeks of arrival.
  • Everyone who buys a gun, in-store or from a gun store online must pass a National Instant Criminal Background Check (NICS Check) before the dealer can transfer the weapon to the buyer.
  • To prepare for the transfer, bring your government issued ID. If your current address does not match the one listed on the ID be sure to bring another government-issued document that verifies your current address is correct. An example of this is a vehicle registration, vehicle title, hunting license or a voter ID card.
  • Thoroughly inspect the firearm before transfer. If you would like to return it, do not take possession. Contact us immediately and we will initiate the return process.
  • There is a fee charged by most FFL dealers to cover the cost of transfer, and that amount may vary by location. Other firearm fees and taxes may be due per local and state regulations.
