Jacob Smith

Growing up in North West England, Jacob Smith had a difficult upbringing. With his mother missing from his life and only a few family members to support him, he often found himself in trouble.

Eventually, the Brit met his future wife and his life’s trajectory changed forever.

Thanks to the unwavering encouragement from his significant other, Smith went from being a young man with no direction to a celebrated British Muay Thai Champion.

The two started a family and eventually opened their own gym, ThaiFist Muay Thai. His incredible transformation earned him the respect of renowned Muay Thai fighter Liam Harrison, who praised Smith for his tenacity and skill set.

Since the Englishman is no stranger to adversity, he courageously accepted the daunting challenge of facing ONE Flyweight Muay Thai World Champion Rodtang Jitmuangnon in his promotional debut at ONE 157 in May 2022.

While he didn’t get the nod, Smith won the hearts of fans everywhere for his steely determination and perseverance — characteristics he continues to show in the world’s largest martial arts organization.
