What counts as a seat?
A seat is one employee (or contractor) whose personal data you want protected. Each person enrolled in a plan uses one seat, regardless of their role or whether they actively log in to Optery.
What’s the difference between Core and Ultimate?
Core covers 365+ data broker sites with monthly automated scans. Ultimate covers 640+ sites, adds before-and-after screenshots in removal reports, unlimited custom removal requests across 955+ sites, and privacy agents, Optery’s humans + machines approach, who manually handle removals that require human intervention.
Can I switch plans or add seats later?
Yes. You can upgrade, downgrade, or add seats at any time. Changes are prorated to your current billing period. If your organization grows into a larger tier, pricing adjusts automatically.
What happens at the end of my free trial?
Your trial runs for up to 30 days with no credit card required. At the end, you can subscribe to continue protection, or your account pauses with no charge. No surprises, no automatic billing.
How does annual billing work?
Annual plans are billed in full upfront. Monthly billing uses the annual rate divided by 10, meaning 12 months of monthly payments costs approximately 20% more than paying annually. The calculator above shows your savings in real time.
Is my data secure? What does SOC 2 Type II mean for us?
Optery is SOC 2 Type II attested. Our controls cover security, availability, and confidentiality across all systems used to process employee data. This means an independent auditor has verified our security practices over a sustained period, not just a point-in-time snapshot. The full report is available via our Trust Center on request.
How do I access your compliance documentation?
Our Data Processing Agreement, Privacy Policy, and Sub-processor List are available, no sales call required. The full SOC 2 Type II report is available on request under NDA.
