What do you do if your creative energy as a Building Design professional is running low?

LOL - this is awesome because I'm actually just went through this. I took the time to research high end luxury clients, suppliers and got inside the heads to my existing luxury clients to find out what the market was missing. My inspiration came from improving on myself, taking time to take care of myself, my family, my health, my environment. I am always inspired by nature, our world, fellow designers - take the time to regroup and recharge - the inspiration will find you.

Eu acredito que conversar com outras pessoas, que não estão ligadas ao projeto, é uma solução super válida. Da mesma forma em nossa energia criativa pode estar no mínimo, sempre há a possibilidade de que o colega ao lado esteja no seu auge. Ele pode não ter o Briefing completo, por não ter tido contato com o cliente, mas talvez justamente essa outra perspectiva seja o necessário para fazer a criatividade florescer. No mundo do design é comum que nos apeguemos em conceitos e ideias já postas, ainda que de forma involuntária e inconscientemente, então sair da zona de conforto e ter outros pontos de vista pode ser essencial para o processo de se reencontrar no caminho para um projeto de sucesso.

My experience in dealing with burn out is to take a break, a great vacation, train yourself in something brand new, or push your boundaries and do something outside your comfort zone. It'll spark your senses into expanding your abilities and rekindle your creativity.
