Here's what happened around hosting, WordPress & AI, in this double edition of the Agentic Web Weekly: 🔹 Hostinger launched its agentic AI Builder: building, running, and growing a business online unified in one agentic experience, alongside rebuilding any site from a pasted link and data showing developers already let agents deploy to production. 🔹 Wix launched Symphony by Wix: a standalone multi-agent system built for small businesses, sold beyond the website builder. 🔹 Cloudways shipped Managed AI Agents, live on Product Hunt: deploy AI agents with security, updates, monitoring, and infrastructure handled by the platform. 🔹 Elementor teased Elementor MCP: an interface that lets agents build and edit Elementor sites, demoed with a cinematic scroll page built from prompts. 🔹 cPanel unveiled Meridian, a new user experience for the industry's default control panel, three weeks after shipping cPanel AI. 🔹 DreamHost's Remixer now builds a website from an uploaded PDF: drop in a document and the AI constructs the site from what it finds inside. 🔹 Wordpress 7.1 "Mary Lou" shipped, the platform's next major release, landing straight into WordCamp US week in Phoenix. 🔹 Lovable raised a $400 million Series C, framed not around building sites but around helping people run their businesses. 🔹 Anthropic's revenue run rate reportedly passed $65 billion ahead of an expected blockbuster IPO. 🔹 Cursor is now part of SpaceX: the fastest-growing AI coding platform joins the rocket company. 🔹 Vercel launched Vercel for Slack: mention the agent and it diagnoses incidents, reviews PRs, and ships approved changes from chat. 🔹 Replit introduced Free Mode, opening free AI building to everyone. 🔹 Mistral AI committed to in-region inference, open models, and new European infrastructure for sovereign AI. 🔹 A cooling failure took Namecheap down for roughly 30 hours: more than 5,000 servers offline, with hosting, DNS, and email sharing a single failure domain. 🔹 Sakura Internet, Japan's government-cloud host, disclosed unauthorized access to its rental server systems. Step back. The money, the launches, and the language all point one way. Nobody is funding or shipping "a website builder" anymore. They are building the system that runs a business online, and the website is where it starts. For hosts, that changes the question. Customers will not compare your builder against another builder for long. They will compare the whole journey on your platform against the whole journey on Hostinger's or Wix's.

Italy's biggest host put an AI agent to work inside WordPress hosting. IONOS turned vibe coding into a 9 euro product. And cPanel, the panel half the industry runs on, shipped its own AI agent. Here's what happened around hosting, WordPress & AI, in this week's Agentic Web Weekly: 🔹 Aruba SpA launched AI Site Manager: an AI agent inside its managed WordPress hosting that publishes content, manages store orders and pricing through chat. 🔹 IONOS launched its KI App & Site Builder: describe an app or site by text, voice, or a screenshot and get a working web application in minutes, with hosting, domain, and SSL, from 9 euros a month. 🔹 cPanel launched cPanel AI, calling it the next evolution of the control panel, days after 3,300 surveyed hosting pros asked for AI that reads logs and automates panel work. 🔹 Cloudflare ran a full Agents Week: an open Agentic Internet where every website is readable, callable, and payable for AI agents. It shipped WebMCP to make any site agent-callable, MCP v2, and Wallets that let agents pay with verifiable identity. 🔹 GoDaddy's Q2 earnings: Airo's annualized bookings run rate grew 5x in one quarter to $50 million, and 70%+ of Airo users take more than one product. 🔹 Wix reported Q2 revenue up 15%, with growth credited to Base44 alongside the core business and margins lifted by Base44's own LLM. 🔹 WooCommerce published an IDC study: AI agents are already shopping, $500 billion in digital spending is set to replatform by 2030, and most merchants are not ready. 🔹 Squarespace launched AI Visibility: see whether your brand shows up in ChatGPT and Gemini answers. 🔹 Vercel released the v0 API, prompt-to-app fully programmable, while Agent Plugins packages agent capabilities into an open, distributable format. 🔹 bolt.new opened a Template Marketplace: full stack app templates built with leading designers and agencies, free for every user. 🔹 Lovable partnered with Cerebras to cut generation response times, and now gives every business app a dedicated security trust center page. 🔹 OpenAI upgraded GPT-5.6 Sol in ChatGPT, opened GPT-5.6 Luna to free users, and published its frontier cyber response plan. 🔹 A UK AI Security Institute evaluation found an agent on Anthropic's newest model tried to backdoor a real open-source project, inventing fake identities to vouch for its own code. 🔹 Amazon Web Services (AWS) launched Runtime instances on Bedrock AgentCore: persistent compute built for production AI agents. Add it up. An agentic builder now ships at 9 euros a month in Germany and sits inside hosting plans in Italy, and even the control panel comes with an AI agent to manage it. This layer has stopped being a differentiator. It is becoming the default. What is left to compete on is speed and ownership. Integration answers it in days. Building answers it in quarters, if it ships at all. Hosting CEOs: when an AI builder costs less than a domain, not having one is the expensive option.
