🐍🪶 Introducing coatl-dev Since 2020, coatl-dev has been quietly building the DevOps and tooling backbone that helps software developers move faster, especially those of us living at the intersection of Python and industrial automation. Here's what we do: 🔧 CI/CD & GitHub Actions: a growing library of custom, reusable GitHub Actions and workflows (PR automation, GPG-signed commits, pip-compile upgrades, and more) that other teams can drop straight into their pipelines. 🐳 Docker images: including a devpi server image (PyPI-compatible mirror/local index) and tooling images that keep legacy Python 2.7/Jython projects buildable alongside modern 3.x code. 📦 Package distribution: our own Homebrew tap and Scoop bucket, so installing our tools on macOS, Linux, or Windows is a one-liner. 🐍 Python packaging: publishing and maintaining libraries on PyPI, with an emphasis on clean typing, reproducibility, and signed releases. 🌱 Fostering ignition-devs: coatl-dev incubates and supports the ignition-devs organization, home to open-source projects like the Ignition Scripting API stubs, a Java API specification, incendium, and Copier project templates; tools built specifically for the Inductive Automation Ignition platform and its developer community. At the core of it all: a small team of developers enabling other developers, with a strong bias toward automation, security-hardened pipelines, and Python.
