Understand Everything that Happens in XR

About us

Capture Everything That Happens in XR. Understand Why It Matters. Cognitive3D is the spatial analytics platform that reveals exactly how users behave inside virtual and augmented reality. By capturing 3D environments, device inputs, and user activity, Cognitive3D helps teams: * Track XR experiences with full scene, object, and interaction data * Replay sessions in 3D to see behavior, gaze, goals, and performance * Analyze aggregate insights across all sessions, versions, and devices Built for Unity, Unreal, and leading XR headsets, Cognitive3D turns complex session data into visual, searchable insights for training, simulation, and research teams. From first-person replays to performance dashboards—know what worked, what didn’t, and why. Learn more at cognitive3d.com | Used by top XR teams across industries

  • XR analytics can tell you what happened during a session. But can you tell who was in the headset? With Cognitive3D Identify, organizations can connect XR sessions to verified participants, making it easier to understand individual activity and performance across training, research, and enterprise XR programs. Identify is designed around the realities of XR authentication. Participants can authenticate through familiar enterprise workflows, then connect their identity to the headset using methods such as QR codes, PINs, and other XR-friendly options. For developers, the Cognitive3D Unity SDK also includes an Identify sample to help teams integrate identification workflows directly into their XR experiences. In our latest blog, we break down how Identify works, the different ways participants can be identified, and how it can connect with existing enterprise and learning workflows. • Matt is heading to R-CON 2026 next week! If you’ll be in Boise and want to chat about XR, robotics, spatial analytics, and all the exciting things we're working on, be sure to grab some time with him while he’s there.

I’ll be in Boise next week for R-CON 2026! I’m looking forward to spending a few days connecting with people working across emerging technology, XR, robotics, spatial computing, and the broader 3D ecosystem. I’ll be there representing Cognitive3D and would love to connect with teams exploring how spatial data and analytics can provide better visibility into how people and machines interact with 3D environments, and how that data can help demonstrate real-world outcomes and ROI. I don’t have a booth this year, which means I’ll have plenty of time to meet. If you’re attending R-CON and want to talk spatial analytics, XR, robotics, or where the industry is heading, grab some time on my calendar. R-CON 2026 | Boise, Idaho | October 13–15 Book a meeting with me: https://lnkd.in/gPy6tK5Y See you in Boise!

We’re heading to Atlanta for Augmented Enterprise Summit! The Cognitive3D team will be at AES October 13–15, connecting with teams working across enterprise XR and talking about how spatial analytics can provide better visibility into immersive programs, from user behaviour and performance to outcomes and ROI. If you’re attending, come find us at Booth 101 to meet the team and see what we’ve been working on. 🌴 And if you’re wondering why we’ve gone with a tiki theme this year… ask us about it. There might be a little more happening beyond the expo floor! 📍 Atlanta, GA 📅 October 13–15, 2026 📌 Booth 101 See you at AES!

  • The Cognitive3D team was in Toronto last week for ROSCon Global 2026, bringing together people working across robotics, simulation, autonomy, and the broader ROS ecosystem. It was a valuable opportunity to spend time with the community, learn what teams are building, and have conversations about where robotics, simulation, spatial data, and XR are beginning to intersect. With several of us in Toronto for ROSCon, we also made the most of the week with a mini team onsite. A few days together gave us time to dig into projects, share ideas, and have the kinds of conversations that benefit from sitting around the same table. A great week of learning, collaboration, and time with the wider robotics community. Thanks for having us, Toronto. 🇨🇦

Proud to have Cognitive3D at Seattle XR Connect last week as both a sponsor and part of the conversation. It was a great opportunity to connect with the Seattle XR community, share what we’ve been building, and hear how teams are approaching XR, real-time 3D, digital twins, and spatial computing across the enterprise. A highlight was hearing our Head of Data Science, Nicola Anderson, PhD, present “Lessons from 350M Minutes in the Headset” and explore what large-scale XR data can teach us about behaviour in immersive experiences. Thanks to everyone who stopped by the Cognitive3D demo, joined the session, or took the time to talk spatial analytics with our team. And a big thank you to our fellow sponsors Unity and The Khronos Group, as well as the Seattle XR Connect team, for bringing the community together for an evening of demos, ideas, and conversations about where industrial XR is heading next. We were glad to be part of it. Until next time, Seattle. 👋

Keeping your team up to date on XR insights shouldn’t mean you have to manually send the same reports again and again. With Report Subscriptions in Cognitive3D, you can now automate dashboard delivery directly to Slack or email. Choose a dashboard, select your Slack channels or email recipients, and set a daily, weekly, or monthly cadence. Cognitive3D will automatically deliver the report, including its charts, on schedule. That means: • Less time spent manually distributing recurring reports • More consistent visibility for stakeholders • XR analytics delivered where your team already collaborates Read the full announcement to see how Slack integration and Report Subscriptions can take recurring reporting work off your plate. https://buff.ly/iGILpxq

  • Physical AI depends on more than collecting data. The data needs to preserve what happened, how it happened, and the outcome. Robotics teams are generating valuable demonstration data through human task capture, teleoperation, simulation, and robot execution. But making that data useful means keeping the context around each attempt intact: the actions taken, inputs provided, objects involved, interventions made, and outcomes that followed. That’s where Cognitive3D comes in. We’re applying a decade of spatial analytics experience to help physical AI teams create continuous spatial records of human demonstrations and robot execution. With Cognitive3D, teams can capture demonstration and robot execution data in context, replay and inspect individual episodes in 3D, compare attempts to identify patterns and useful failures, and connect selected data to their existing training and evaluation workflows. Our latest article explores how spatial data can help turn individual demonstrations and robot attempts into structured, portable datasets that physical AI teams can put to work.
