Last week TroopHR's founder, Tracy Avin, stood in Times Square, staring up at a billboard that amplified everything the community has become. 💫 We couldn't be prouder of her, and of every single HR Pro and Troop member who made this possible. Not because of the billboard itself, though seeing our work 40 feet tall in one of the world's most iconic places hits different. But because of what it represents: A community that refused to accept the status quo. When we launched TroopHR during COVID on Circle's platform, Tracy had a simple belief: HR leaders deserved better than surface-level networking and outdated playbooks. Circle gave us the technology to build something scalable without losing what makes community actually work, real conversations, real support, real solutions. We set the vision. Circle powers the platform. But our members? They're the ones who made it matter. This community exists because of its incredible members: ⭐️ The People leaders who show up day-in and day-out to support each other with the impossible decisions and unforseen challenges the encounter daily. ⭐️ The first-time Heads of People who ask "questions" in the forum (spoiler: and get actual answers, from hard-earned insights. ⭐️ The seasoned HR pros who share their playbooks, their mistakes, and their hard-won lessons because they remember what it felt like to figure it out alone. Troop members didn't just join a community. They are building it, together. One conversation, one shared resource, one moment at a time. Times Square is wild. But you know what's wilder? The fact that close to 2,000 HR leaders have found their people here. That's the real billboard moment. Tracy's face might be in Times Square, but this achievement belongs to every member who believed that HR leadership could be less isolating, more strategic, and actually supported by people who understand the work. To our members: You are TroopHR. Your questions drive our content. Your challenges shape our workshops. Your wins fuel our belief that we're building something that matters. To the team at Circle: Thank you for building the infrastructure that lets us focus on what matters most—our members. Together we're ALL changing what community can be. To the HR leaders who haven't joined yet: There's a seat waiting for you. Learn at the link in comments! Extra shout-out to our fellow Circle creators and friends of the Troop who joined us for this extraordinary experience. Thank you to our amazing partners at Circle for amplifying the Entreprenista community in such a big way! Seeing Entreprenista featured on billboards across Times Square was an unforgettable moment. Circle has been a true partner in helping us bring women founders together and giving our members not just a platform to connect and grow, but now, a spotlight in one of the most iconic places in the world. Every time our community gets amplified, more women founders get the recognition, visibility, and opportunities they deserve. And that’s exactly what Entreprenista is all about. We celebrate the ambitious women who are building, scaling, and leading businesses that change the world. I am honored to get to build a movement that helps women founders be seen, supported, and unstoppable! #Entreprenista #WomenFounders #Community #Circle #TimesSquare #Entrepreneurship #WomenInBusiness

I was in Times Square...on a billboard! Unreal! 🤯 Thank you to Circle for the opportunity, but more importantly thank you for being an amazing company that I've had the pleasure of working closely with for the past 5 years. We use Circle to host our community at SPI, and I've been an advisor since the early days, and to see how far they've come, and all they continue to do to serve communities all around the world...I couldn't be more proud of their success! It was an honor to be featured here alongside several other epic community leaders, but it's the members of each of our communities on these platforms that truly make it special. I was bullish on community in 2019 when I wrote about it in Superfans, and I'm even more bullish on it now today. If you aren't building community, you're going to be left behind. And of course, I recommend Circle to build it on. Check them out if you haven't already! https://lnkd.in/gEuHCVNH And check out the SPI community as well if you'd like to see Circle in action! https://lnkd.in/gw7YSCcg

I can't really explain what it's like to stand in front of a billboard of yourself in the middle of Times Square. ✨ Staring at a message that sums up your life's work. We started TroopHR during COVID as a small community on the incredible platform created by Circle. They gave us the infrastructure to scale our community while maintaining the intimacy that makes TroopHR so special. In the beginning we were just a small group of HR leaders who were tired of the same old conferences, the same recycled content, and resources that felt like they were written in 90's. We wanted something different. Something real. A place where HR leaders could actually talk to each other, not at each other. Where the conversations mattered more than the keynote. Where you could ask the hard questions without worrying about being judged. And now it's on a billboard in Times Square. Multiple billboards. I keep thinking about the early days, the first few members, the uncertainty of whether anyone would even show up, the late nights wondering if we were building something that mattered. Standing there, looking up at 40-foot versions of what we've built, I felt a lot of things. Pride, definitely. Gratitude, absolutely. But here's what I'm learning - when you build something that actually solves a problem, when you create space for real connection instead of performative networking, when you refuse to accept "good enough" as the standard, things happen that you never imagined possible. Times Square isn't the goal. It never was. The goal was, and still is, to build a community where HR leaders feel less alone, more empowered, and actually equipped to do the impossible work they do every day. Seeing our work reflected back at us, literally larger than life, in one of the most iconic places in the world? That's a moment I'll never forget. To every single member that has been or is part of the TroopHR community: This is yours. We built this. You showed up when it was just an idea. You made it matter. Thank you for believing in what we're building! If you want to be part of what we are building at TroopHR, with the most supportive and talented HR leaders join us! Link in comments. I am feeling incredibly grateful ❤️ This week, Circle lit up Times Square and featured Entreprenista as one of their standout community success stories. To see our mission for women founders spotlighted on one of the biggest stages in the world is overwhelmingly surreal. The more people who discover Entreprenista, the more we can have: - More capital unlocked for women founders - More visibility for women-owned brands - More community, collaboration & momentum - More women supported at every stage of the entrepreneurial journey Moments like this remind Stephanie Cartin and me why we started and how far we’ve come thanks to this powerful community. Thank you, Circle, for believing in what we're building. And thank YOU, Entreprenistas, for being the heartbeat of this movement 💗

This week, I got featured on a Times Square billboard. Seeing myself up there sparked so many emotions. Back in 2020, I and my team launched the Part-Time YouTuber Academy. We needed somewhere to host it. We chose Circle and suddenly I was no longer broadcasting content into the void. I was facilitating conversations and connections. Slowly the community became just as valuable if not more than the course content itself. Most creators believe content is the be-all and end-all. But being a creator myself, I know it’s not enough. People don’t just need information. They need connection. In our Circle community, great things happened: ↳ Students became accountability partners ↳ They started hosting their own meetups ↳ They started collaborating on projects ↳ Some even become business partners You can’t get that from content. You can’t get that from any course. You can only get that from community. Over 5 years, I’ve watched complete beginners become full-time creators. Not just because of the course, but because they had people supporting them every step of the way. When Circle put me up on Times Square, it was surreal. But it also reminded me why we’ve stuck with them. They understand what I’ve learned the hard way. Community isn’t a nice-to-have for creators. It’s the whole point. All of our courses are now hosted on Circle. And honestly, I can’t imagine building anything educational without it. If you’re a creator or educator not building a community, you’re missing one of the most fulfilling parts of online business. We’ve been using Circle for 5 years and it just works. Try it here: https://lnkd.in/evpwuG_Q Thank you Circle for sponsoring this post. #ad

How cool is this?? Yesterday, I took over Times Square! I was highlighted as part of a campaign from Circle. If you're not familiar, Circle is my favorite platform out there for online communities. When I speak to creators about their. needs in a community platform, I almost always recommend Circle. My membership (The Lab) has been on Circle since 2022. Before that, I spent ~18 months leading the team at Smart Passive Income building out their Circle communities when the platform was still in private beta! To say Circle has been transformative for my business would be an understatement. Since launch, my membership has generated nearly $1.5 million in revenue. And the wonderful thing about memberships is that – when done well – revenue *builds* over time. This year alone, the membership will contribute more than $500,000 to the bottom line. So, I'm a Circle fanboy. And with yesterday's campaign highlighting some of their creators, it seems they may be fans of me too. 😂 If you're thinking about building your own community, try Circle yourself: https://lnkd.in/eTQByPzW – 👋 I'm Jay, and I help creators attract more attention, develop deeper trust, and make more money from their content. 🧪 Want my help?
