We've raised $2.3B in Series D funding from Accel, Andreessen Horowitz, Coatue, Thrive, Nvidia, and Google. We're also happy to share that Cursor has grown to over $1B in annualized revenue and now produces more code than any other agent in the world. This funding will allow us to invest deeply in research and build Cursor's next magical moment. cursor.com/blog/series-d

I spent the last 60 days working at Cursor. It's been one of the most thrilling phases of my professional life. There's a lot of mystique around the company. Over the last two months, some things matched my expectations; many did not. I wrote an essay for Colossus about things that have surprised me about the company and its culture so far. https://lnkd.in/gvGM-Rcf

We're proud to work with NVIDIA to support their nearly 40,000 engineers. Jensen Huang: "My favorite enterprise AI service is Cursor. Cursor is an AI coder and every one of our engineers, one hundred percent, is now assisted by AI coders and our productivity has gone up incredibly."

Cursor can now write detailed plans before starting complex tasks. This allows agents to run for significantly longer. Plans are generated as Markdown and can be edited inline or stored in code. Enter plan mode with Shift+Tab in the agent input. cursor.com/blog/plan-mode

We’re making a major investment to improve Java support in Cursor. This includes building a dedicated team to speed up the Java Language Server Protocol (LSP) and contributing open-source improvements back to the VS Code ecosystem. We’re partnering with LSP authors and contributors from Red Hat, Microsoft, IBM, and more. Early improvements have shown 10% faster project imports, and reducing debugger scans from 5+ seconds to <200 ms in large codebases. You can learn more here: cursor.com/blog/java
