Film. Audio. Stage. Street. Latino stories don't belong to one format. They belong everywhere. Because heritage isn't something of the past. It's a story we are living, shaping and telling every day. It's in the filmmaker premiering her first short. The creator explaining home in two languages. The mentor passing the mic to the next voice. That's why Audible teamed up with New York Latino Film Festival for the third consecutive year, building the spaces where storytellers across mediums come together, share what's real, and shape what's next. • We all know that stories shape how we see ourselves and how we make sense of the world around us. Yet, there are still so many stories that haven’t been heard. Can you imagine what it would take to change that? We can! We’re excited to share our good news: Exodus Youth Worx UK and Curate Your Genius Academy & CYG Gold Consultancy (CYG) are joining forces again to deliver a new programme as part of Audible’s Imagine Louder initiative! The Audible × Exodus Youth Worx UK × Curate Your Genius Academy & CYG Gold Consultancy collaboration combines the brilliance, community relationships and youth work experience of Exodus Youth Worx UK with CYG’s approach to creative learning, meaningful participation and Story Protection™️. Thats why we’re so, so excited to launch this programme for our future Audible Imagineers and to discover where their ideas take us! Over the next six months, we’ll be working with young people aged 12 – 18 across Edmonton, Enfield and surrounding North London communities, exploring the power of stories, listening and creative expression. At the heart of the programme is the Exodus Audible Book Club, a space where young people can discover stories, encounter different perspectives and explore the things that matter to them. We’ll do a lot more than ‘just’ listen to books or consume words. We’ll have conversations that the stories make possible, thinking about the questions they raise, the assumptions they challenge and the connections they help us make between our own experiences and those of others. Not everyone connects with stories in the same way. So, through audio storytelling, podcasting, spoken word, creative workshops and shared listening experiences, young people will have opportunities to explore different forms of expression and help shape the direction of the programme themselves. Together, we’ll create an environment where different interests, abilities, experiences and ways of learning are welcomed (our activity schedule will be released soon). Our registration and launch event will take place on Thursday 29th October from 3pm - 5pm at Croyland Youth Hub, Croyland Road, Edmonton, London. For more information, DM us or register here - https://lnkd.in/eAjavWY5 #AudibleImagineLouder #ExodusYouthWorxUK #CurateYourGenius #BuildingFutures #YouthVoice #Enfield This initiative provides an exciting opportunity to develop this work over the next six months, but our ambitions extend beyond the initial programme. Our collaboration sits within the wider partnership between Exodus Youth Worx UK and Curate Your Genius, Building Futures. Through Building Futures: Stories That Shape Us, we aim to build on the relationships, creativity and learning that emerge from Imagine Louder, creating voluntary and paid opportunities for young people to continue exploring stories, expressing themselves and developing a love for the art long after the initial programme concludes.

Audible pioneered audio storytelling and invented the first portable digital audio player. But did you know we also opened a retail and community hub in downtown Newark, NJ? The Pillars is a 15,000-square-foot retail and community hub in the city's Arts and Education District opened one year ago, after listening to Newark residents and local organizations about what they wanted to see in the neighborhood. Today, local businesses are building here with support through Audible's Business Attraction Program, which provides funding, subsidized rental space, and mentorship to reduce barriers for historically underrepresented founders. This month, New Jersey Future recognized The Pillars with a 2026 Smart Growth Award as a model for how corporate investment can strengthen neighborhoods and create community vitality. Congratulations to all involved!

Six in 10 children worldwide can't read and understand a simple text by age 10, according to the United Nations. Screens and short-form content are only making it harder to hold young people's attention. So we're putting our product to work. Introducing Imagine Louder, our first global program leveraging Audible's service for social good. Over three years, 15,000 young people will receive free six-month Audible Premium memberships, offering over 180,000 hours of listening each. But access is only part of it. In our first year, we're collaborating with seven nonprofits to bring audio storytelling into their programming to reach the young people they serve. Our first cohort of nonprofits across the U.S., U.K. and Mexico: DreamYard Project, Flockworks, LIFE ANEW RESTORATIVE JUSTICE, Girl Rising, VICTA, Be Free Campaign, and Exodus Youth Worx UK. Seeing the books come to life at this year’s Frankfurt Book Fair. The Audible stand housed a listening booth inspired by a Hogwarts Express carriage. Inside, visitors could hear an exclusive first preview of the German full-cast audio editions of Harry Potter™ in Dolby Atmos. We even had members of our audiobook cast stop by to listen back to the work they had created, and watching them hear it together was a real highlight. Thank you to our partners at Audible for creating a space where these stories could be heard in a whole new way. Worth turning your sound on for. #FrankfurtBookFair #HarryPotter
