We're heading to #AIEngineer Code Summit in 🗽 Come meet us at booth G11 for an all-you-can-eat donut wall, fun swag, and great conversations with our team about monetization infrastructure in the age of AI. Don’t miss our very own Michael Lacsamana as he takes the stage for a technical deep dive into building a high-scale credit system for your company. Excited to connect, learn, and share how we’re shaping the future of monetization infrastructure together.

New case study drop: How Miro futureproofed monetization and launched AI pricing in under 6 weeks (!) with Stigg. When fast-moving companies outgrow internal monetization tooling, speed becomes a bottleneck. Miro faced that challenge as they expanded into AI-powered collaboration. The result was a new hybrid seat and usage-based model, launched in record time. Key results: • Under 6 weeks to launch AI monetization • 6x faster pricing & packaging iterations • More than 5,000 engineering hours saved This story is for product and engineering teams building monetization infrastructure that can keep up with AI innovation. (link to the full case study in the comments below). A huge thank you to the Miro team for their collaboration and partnership, incl. Susan van de Ven, Dima Titenko, Dick Wiggers, Yuliya Malysh, and Jony Jeyaratnam. 💚

Last week at Stripe Tour NYC, the theater was packed, and one question kept coming up: We’ve built powerful AI features. But now what? How do you actually price them? How do you make sure your infrastructure keeps up as your product and your market evolve week by week? There’s no universal playbook. The teams pulling ahead aren’t the ones who found the “perfect” pricing model. They’re the ones who built the ability to change fast. At Stigg, we call that unbundling to enable. It means designing monetization systems that are flexible, API-first, and ready to adapt. Because AI doesn’t stand still, and neither can pricing. At Stripe Tour NYC, Dor Sasson shared how AI is reshaping monetization and why the fastest-moving teams are shifting from trying to perfect pricing to building for iteration. Our latest post recaps the key ideas and introduces the Credits Suite, built specifically for AI products that need to experiment, scale, and move fast without refactors or downtime. 👇 Links in the comments. The future of monetization is flexible, experimental, and unbundled.

HTTP 402 is back, and this time we’re diving deep into one of the most debated pricing strategies out there: credits-based monetization. Join us for an AMA with Elena Verna, Head of Growth at Lovable, as we explore the joys, pains, and tradeoffs of using credits in modern pricing models. Expect a practical discussion on why companies are adopting credits, what challenges come with implementation, and how credits influence adoption, user experience, and revenue. RSVP here: https://lnkd.in/e2sTs9VC Note, that this AMA is part of the HTTP 402 community, a space for builders, operators, and growth leaders to exchange ideas about pricing and monetization. If you’re not yet a member, now’s a great time to join and take part in the live AMA. Link to the members form is in the comments below.

We thought building AI Credits would be simple. One balance. Multiple AI features. A fair way to charge customers. Easy, right? It wasn’t. What started as a pricing question quickly became an engineering marathon involving real-time deduction, expirations, concurrency, enforcement, billing integration, transparency, and revenue recognition. We realized that when you introduce credits, you’re not just adding a billing unit. You’re building an economy. And that economy has to be accurate, auditable, and transparent at scale. Along the way, we learned how hard it is to make credits work correctly. Every deduction has to be idempotent. Every event traceable. Every balance visible in real time. Customers need transparency. Finance needs precision. Engineering needs reliability. We built all of that into Stigg so teams can monetize their AI features quickly and safely without rebuilding their billing systems. Last week, we officially launched AI Credits, the result of everything we learned building this system from the ground up. Our VP of Engineering, Shai Betito, sat down to write this technical deep dive about everything we’ve learned - and broke - along the way of building AI Credits in Stigg. If you’re exploring credit-based pricing for AI, this is the field report we wish we had when we started. https://lnkd.in/escQRJar

AI is changing how products are built and used, but it also changes how they should be monetized. This week, we rolled out AI credits in Stigg’s monetization infrastructure, and the buzz since then has been incredible. Lots of teams are reaching out, asking questions, and starting great conversations, and the launch has already been picked up by several media outlets, like Techstrong.ai (adding the link in the comments). AI monetization is just getting started, and we’re already busy working on what’s next. Stay tuned! 💚

What a day at #StripeTour NYC 2025. The energy in the room was amazing and it was great meeting so many of you. Dor Sasson gave a really engaging talk on AI monetization, our raffle pulled in a big crowd, and the swag definitely made people smile. Thanks to everyone who stopped by and shared the day with us. 💚

Introducing Stigg’s Credits Suite: enterprise-grade credits without billing migrations. Credits are becoming the default currency for AI features. The blocker has been billing. Most stacks were not built for credits, forcing teams to either build in-house or migrate providers. Both slow you down and create risk. Stigg’s Credits Suite runs on top of the billing you already use, so you can launch credits fast, enforce usage in real time, and give customers transparency and control. What’s included today ▪️ Real-time usage and credit burndown. Every API call updates balances instantly. ▪️ Top-ups and expiration. Native support for credit packs and expirations. ▪️ Credit ledger with API + UI. A finance-grade record of every burn, top-up, and expiration. ▪️ Customer-facing visibility and control. Out-of-the-box widgets and self-serve portals. What’s coming next Recurring credits, automatic top-ups, multi-credit pools, spend limits and alerts, dollar conversions, and credit-based trials. All designed to expand flexibility without changing your billing stack. See it live at #StripeTour NYC. Visit booth #204, join the theater session with our founder Dor Sasson, or explore online.
