After Sagar Yadav's victory in 2023, Mohammad Aatif became the second Dar geotechnical engineer to win 1st place at the National Level Geotechnical Competition “GEO CHAMPIONS-2024” organised by the Indian Geotechnical Society - Vellore Student Chapter (IGS) – Trichy Chapter in association with National Institute of Technology, Tiruchirappalli (NIT) Tiruchirapalli (Trichy) and National Institute of Technology Puducherry. The competition is a remarkable platform that showcases the significance of collaboration, critical thinking, and innovation in geotechnical engineering. Organised as a national-level contest, it embodies the values of knowledge sharing, practical application, and academic excellence while testing the mettle of the brightest young minds in the discipline.

On December 24, 2024, Dar Pune concluded its year with a heartwarming and successful blood donation camp, held in collaboration with Poona Serological Institute Blood Bank, as part of our ongoing commitment to give back to our community.   Over 75 employees generously donated blood to support patients and raise awareness of the essential role of blood banks and volunteers in supporting the healthcare sector. We extend our warmest gratitude to our volunteers and healthcare professionals who ensured everything ran smoothly and safely.   This initiative is a powerful reminder of what we can achieve when we unite for a noble cause.

The Ayamama Swa(m)p exhibition, hosted by Salt and organised by MIT's School of Architecture and Planning was on display from November 26 to December 22 at Salt Galata, focusing on the ecology of the Ayamama River in Istanbul and offering a thought-provoking exploration of sustainable solutions for a more resilient urban future. The exhibition, led by Prof. Rafi Segal and curated by Prof. Rafi and Selin Şahin, features a large map of the Ayamama River corridors, a film narrated from the perspective of birds, and silkscreen prints by artist Marisa Morán Jahn. The research is supported by Dar, MIT’s Leventhal Center for Advanced Urbanism, and MIT’s Future Urban Collectives Lab. We are honoured to contribute to this important project, addressing critical intersections of climate change, urban sprawl, and ecological resilience.
