🧵 Fabric headers serve as essential design tools for the product development process; however, they also create tons of waste and several challenges for design teams. Over the last three months, FABSCRAP engaged with our clients to identify our shared concerns with fabric headers, acknowledge functional frustrations, and confront the mounds of headers piling up along supply chains and waste streams. 💡Now, we are inviting brands, textile mills, and material agents to join FABSCRAP’s Inaugural Smarter Swatches Working Group Session- held at Long Island University at 5 PM on October 1st. Together, we’ll review current practices, explore cost-saving opportunities, and design a more sustainable future for fabric headers.
