At 12, one of Brazil's top soccer clubs offered Nicolas Silberstein to go pro. He said no. Today he's in SF, playing the “Champions League" against the “Pelés" of Silicon Valley. His company Firecrawl does one job: it turns messy webpages into clean text AI can read. Agents now browse the web more than humans do (per Cloudflare) and Firecrawl became one of the most-starred projects on GitHub with 170k+ stars. They never had a sales team. They open-sourced it, developers adopted it on their own and it spread from there. Tobias Lütke, the founder of Shopify, reached out and invested without even taking a meeting. His thesis: "if you make something that developers want, you're making something that agents want."
